Theres an AC at night, apart from that there is fans running. Everybody working there is incredibly kind and looking out for you at all times of the day. They place is old, but kept clean. Had no issues. There is a little kitchen and fridge, however I didn't use it."

It was pretty quiet at night, and the location was decent. The cleanliness was good too. The 5-euro breakfast we paid extra for in the morning was a bit too simple, mostly sweets, though it did include coffee and juice. Also, a genuine tip: if you have enough space, buy some water from the vending machine here to take into the city. A 1-euro bottle from the machine costs 1.5 euros or more in the city.

Nice view from the terrace, welcome receptionsists and all staff. The hostel provides with great activities each evening. I definitely recommend!

This is a great place to stay. Very accommodating staff and clean place. The only downside for me is the bed without covers. The spaces are enough but some privacy curtains would be preferrable. I understand that there could be reasons behind it but most of the hostels I stayed in before, mixed or not have privacy curtains. My bed location was in a bit awkward location as it is visible upon entry. A cover from one side would be great. Still overall, I would come back to Generator on my next visit. ☺️

I loved the common areas they have for travellers to relax. Not to mention the fully equipped kitchen and also the occasional free dinner prepared by the staff. Rooms were spacious and adopted the capsule/nest style where you can have ultimate privacy at night. Lockers were big enough to fit my 40L bag and no additional locks needed for the locker. Although the beds are encapsulated, however it is not hot or stuffy at night as I still felt cold from the AC. Ensuite bathroom is decent and clean for everyone’s use.

considering the price, the hotel is not that bad. Great location just few times walk to the Colosseum. Even the electric fan is not working but you can bring your own fan. The cleanliness of the bed sheet and a pillow is not that bad. There’s one shower room and toilet so you have to wait. there is pantry also so you can cook your food. If you want to stay here for many days and save the budget, I recommend this hotel

The room facilities were all great. There's a restaurant right below the hotel with a lovely ambiance. The only minor drawback was that there was only USB charging available near the bed.

We booked double bed room for 3 nights (private) The room was soooo clean and new (maybe they were renovated?) Toilet, shower, air conditioner, bed, everything has no problem and good quality! You can use a hair dryer at the room. The staff was also kind and nice. They told us good places to visit in Italy. The Location was super, it was only five minutes from Termini station. I saw many bad reviews of this hostel on Google maps, maybe the shared rooms are not good. So I definitely recommend you to book private, double bed room if you visit there with more than 2 people. The price wasn’t much different! Careful: They don’t have a towel and it’s a bit difficult to get into the hostel at the first time.

Not bad, if you’re staying here just remember that airport stops running trains to termini at 11pm until 5 am the next day. So if the proximity to the train station is why you’re staying here just keep in mind. I ended up getting a taxi because Im traveling by myself and heard that the termini area can get a little sketchy after midnight. Everything else was fine. The blankets provided did not seemed to be cleaned very well, mine had what looked like blood or makeup stains. Ended up just using the sheets to cover myself.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise on my last stop in Rome during my independent trip to Italy. The staff were very attentive and friendly. They helped me store my luggage even before check-in, and after check-out, they stored it for free. Very nice! Every day, they'd greet me warmly when I passed the front desk. Although breakfast wasn't included, the lobby on the first floor had a fridge, microwave, oven, and a water dispenser (for a fee), among other things. There was even a ping-pong table! Room service was provided daily. It's also conveniently located near the train station. We pretty much walked to all the popular attractions in Rome.
