Pros:
Rooms are comfortable, and the ambience and lighting is lovely. Shower is great.
I found the bed and pillows incredibly comfortable and the room was so quiet so I had a great sleep.
The hotel is conveniently located 15-20 minutes by taxi from the hotel.
Cons:
The room wasn't clean. There were stains on the carpet; the desks and bedside tables weren't clean. It also didn't appear to have been vacuumed properly as there were bits of rubbish/food on the carpet.
There were several moths flying around in the room.
The safety latch on my door didn't work.
The bedside table on one side of the bed was sloping downwards as it was slightly broken off the wall.
After showering, the noise of the water dripping down the drain was incredibly loud for at least the next 2 hours, which was extremely annoying seeing as the shower cubicle is pretty much right next to the bed!
When trying to I call the spa and later room service I kept getting the message that 'Marriott are experiencing very high call volumes....'.
When I eventually got through to room service and tried to order a drink to my room I was advised to order online. When I tried to order online the message on the website said 'no menus found '. So I eventually had to go down to the bar in the lobby to buy the drink.
I can't recommend this Marriott as there were too many issues, albeit most of them relatively small.
