Vila Louro

A lovely property, very pretty grounds. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Short drive to the beach.

I can not stop talking about this beautiful Villa. The owner Philipe is an AMAZING friendly, kind person. We stayed here 3 days before our closing (purchased a vacation home on silver coast) and was doing a lot of home shopping before our moving date and Filipe was so kind to let us store all the boxes. The Villas room are extremely clean, beautifully decorated and well organized in a beautiful well maintained property/garden. Also, the shared kitchen which you can cook or store food while you stay here is a big plus. We had 2 rooms one for me and my husband and one for our daughter who arrived few days later from UK. Both the room were fully equipped, well decorated l, extremely clean with SO COMFORTABLE BEDS, and beautiful view of the garden. I highly recommend this place and Philipe will be on my friends contact list when we visit our home in silver cost. Thank you Philipe and Staff for a pleasant and memorable stay!

July 2024 - 15 adults and 11 children Please be very careful with the owner of this house (aggressive and unstable person) , we rented the house for a weekend, and he was monitoring us (without consent) and our children through cameras. On the check-out day he was completely out of himself callings us names because we were 15 min late... in front of the children!! The children were so scared that we had to take them out of the house. He even entered a room without knocking on the door and began shouting at a couple who were changing the diaper of a 3-month-old baby because they were 15 minutes late compared to their check out time. Also, be prepared for him to take money out of your credit card and inventing values such as black-out steam cleaning. One of the rudest people I've ever seen. My friends, our children and I were mistreated and the aggressiveness of Mr. Filipe Louro da Silva, (one of the owners) was such that it looked like he wanted to hit one of the guests (a woman). Julho de 2024 - 15 adultos e 11 crianças Atenção: tenham cuidado com o dono desta casa (pessoa agressiva e instável), alugámos a casa durante um fim de semana, e ele esteve a monitorizar-nos (sem consentimento) e aos nossos filhos através de câmaras. No dia do check-out o Sr. Filipe Louro da Silva estava completamente fora de si, chamou-nos todos os nomes possíveis, aos gritos, porque estávamos 15 minutos atrasados. As crianças ficaram com tanto medo que tivemos de as tirar de casa. O proprietário até entrou num quarto, sem bater à porta, e começou a gritar com um casal que estava a trocar a fralda de um bebé de 3 meses porque estavam 15 minutos atrasados em relação ao horário de check-out. Além disso, esteja preparado para que lhe seja retirado dinheiro do seu cartão de crédito (caução) e sejam inventados valores como limpeza a vapor black-out. Uma das pessoas mais rudes que já vi. Os meus amigos, os nossos filhos e eu fomos maltratados e a agressividade do Sr. Filipe Louro da Silva, (um dos proprietários) era tal que parecia que queria bater numa das hospedes (uma mulher). ASSUSTADOR!

I absolutely loved this accommodation! I would definitely come here again, it’s a quiet and calm stay with a beautiful garden and outside area. Everyone is so friendly and I felt safe all the time, even though I was traveling alone.

We had rooms in the main house, very nice and comfortable. The common areas are well thought out, the grounds were beautiful. It was perfect for our needs (4 adults including 1 couple). The owner was very accommodating. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Peaceful and comfortable Vila Louro is a peaceful and relaxing place to stay. The lovely rooms are located in a beautiful garden with a pool, just 10 minutes from the beaches and down town Santa Cruz. The hosts were lovely and accommodating. Highly recommended.
