A beautiful experience in this wonderful special area. The pension is a family business, new, squeaky clean, width all the right amenities in place. Good rooms half with balcony the other half without all benefiting from a large terrace with many tables and cosy chairs and lovely mountains view. Furniture wood non IKEA, but solid wood. Large beds, Philips tv sets with hd and full cable option. Reliable free but secured broadband connection with speeds such as 30MB download. Bathroom large, with Italian shower, with shower gel and shampoo available. Hair dryer one wall! Staff: Nicu & Simona are serving you all right… they are thoroughly taking care of all needs doing their best to accommodate you properly. They are the children of Mona the Landlady who is also in charge of the kitchen together with the sister Daniela. Mona takes care of cooking. She does amazing home like cooking. They serve a few delicious dishes at dinner, available at request. Since the Landlords, their husbands (who built the place) breed pigs and probably cows, as well as chickens, most of the ingredients are prepared on the premises. Breakfast is included in the room price. It is fixed but rich, typically: eggs, cheeses, veggies, home made ham, fried schnitzel (chicken), a pot of blueberry jam (fruit collected from own back yard) etc. Dinner/lunch food prices are more than reasonable at present. Coming back to the staff, Nicu is doing a splendid job with the reservation management. Card payment is accepted easily! Cousin Maria, daughter of second landlady Daniela is also helping with the service. If you are nice to them and easygoing and friendly you might leave with jam and home made plum brandy as farewell gifts 🍀😉 For me, this is my top tourist stay in RO! If you ever want to visit the literally golden Apuseni Mts in RO and the nature and late gold mining attractions Drumul Iancului is the place to put up! 🎉😇🥰
