W Abu Dhabi - Yas Island

Yas Circuit View Hotel – even though there are obstructions outside, I highly recommend going to the connecting bridge with the main building to watch the race! For breakfast, definitely don't sleep in; it gets super crowded! If you're late, some dishes will be gone! For the pool, head to the Wet Deck side; it's much nicer and more modern! The Sun Deck side is more 'family-oriented,' as the staff delicately put it, which I took to mean that modern swimwear might not be entirely appropriate there given local customs. Service, needless to say, is up to the usual W standard – very satisfied!

The breakfast was very average. A small latte at the hotel's coffee shop cost ¥90, which is ridiculously expensive! The soundproofing was also mediocre; I could hear noise from the hallway.

Very clean, excellent location.

This hotel is located right next to the F1 track in Abu Dhabi, and the building itself is very striking. The rooms directly face the track, so even without a race, you can still soak up some of the atmosphere. The bathtub wasn't working very well, which was the only downside.

The hotel's biggest advantage is its location right on the Yas Marina Circuit. However, our room was on the second floor, and the large balcony obstructed the view of the track. If you want a good view of the circuit from your room, it's best to request a room on the third floor or higher. Check-in was very quick. During the Chinese New Year, there were many Chinese guests, and we even received special chocolate gifts. There are also many Indian guests at the hotel, and the breakfast offers a dedicated Indian section. Of course, there's Chinese food too, though not a huge variety. They had spring rolls, stir-fried rice noodles with Laoganma chili crisp and pickled mustard, and steamed fish which was decent. The pan-fried dumplings were the most popular; a fresh plate would be half-gone by the time I looked away. You can order eggs made to your liking; I had Eggs Benedict two days in a row. Breakfast gets very crowded, but you get a great view of a large section of the racetrack, which is fantastic. The shuttle service to the theme parks is very convenient and available at all times. However, to get to the actual racetrack, you'll need a taxi, which was reasonably priced at 12 dirhams.

I highly recommend this hotel. This isn't my first visit, and I still stand by my opinion that the hotel is amazing and worth every penny I spend on it, from the service and treatment to the cleanliness.

Was upgraded to a premium trackside room, big thanks to the friendly front desk staff for their help! The breakfast spread was amazing and the service was excellent. The Garage restaurant has a fantastic view directly overlooking the race track, which was a huge plus!
