The ambience in this gem of a boutique hotel in Ghana is one of the best in the world that I have stayed in . Excellent First class service. Food was great. Rooms were very big. Make you feel at home. The moment you walk in to the front desk you greeted with warm smiles. Very comfortable beds

My wife and I had the most wonderful stay at Villa Monticello. From the moment we landed in Accra, we were warmly greeted with an airport pickup that set the tone for the rest of our experience. Every detail of our stay was handled with care, and the hospitality was exceptional. Our room was spotless, beautifully designed, and truly felt like a home away from home. The plush robes were a cozy touch, and the deep, spa-like bathtub quickly became a personal favorite—a perfect way to unwind. We treated ourselves to an in-room spa day, which was both relaxing and rejuvenating, adding an extra layer of luxury to our visit. The owners were incredibly personable and generous with their time, offering thoughtful city recommendations that made exploring Accra even more memorable. It’s rare to find such genuine care and warmth, and it made our stay feel extra special. To the entire team at Villa Monticello—thank you for your kindness, attention to detail, and for creating such a beautiful space. We left feeling cared for and truly refreshed. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Accra.

Beautiful accommodation, helpful and friendly staff, and the food…… Wow!!! Seriously the best prawns I’ve ever eaten and to top that, the best spicy prawns I’ve ever tasted. They have arranged and provided airport and inter-city transfers and transport for the 15 days that I’m here. 10 out of 10!!!!!

I had such an incredible experience at Villa Monticello, honestly, the staff were unbelievable, and I loved every single moment of it. Special shoutout to Zeinab, who truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. We didn’t lack anything at all. I even organized an event here, and everything was on time, well-coordinated, and our guests had the best time. I was truly impressed. Fun fact: on my way here with RwandAir, I was reading their magazine and saw Villa Monticello being highlighted. I thought to myself, “Wow, if this hotel is being featured here, it must really be something. I just hope they don’t disappoint.” Well, lo and behold, I was mesmerized. The staff, the service — just top notch. Coming from someone with over 4 years of experience in events management, that says a lot. Zeinab’s touch of excellence and humility speaks volumes about the hotel’s culture. Honestly, some hotels should send their people here to learn hospitality from Villa Monticello’s team. A special thank you as well to Jemima and Ebenezer, who were a superb support throughout my stay. The only negative thing I can say about Villa Monticello is that I have to leave on Friday. I can’t say goodbye, only à bientôt.

What a fantastic beautiful and well maintained Boutique Hotel. This is a homely relaxing place to stay, with great rooms (Lake Como) fantastic food and an amazing team of staff who couldn’t do enough to ensure your stay was the best. Thanks Team Monticello
