I transited through Addis Ababa and did an overnight stay at Nazra. When the shuttle arrived at the hotel, the front desk person wasn’t very clear on what he was doing and struggled with some basic things. I went to my room, and immediately went to the bathroom, there was water all over the floor from the bathroom sink. It looked like a leaking pipe. And the toilet was dirty, I went to flush the toilet and it didn’t work. I immediately went back downstairs and asked for another room. The guy seemed confused why I had an issue. I also asked for a room away from the elevator, due to people moving around and extra noise. He stated that the rooms were sound proof, and seems baffled why I would ask this. He just waffled around for a bit and finally asked him to just give me another room. I went to the new room and went to take a shower, there were no towels at all. I called room service and they promptly brought up towels. But I noticed that I could hear a lot of outside noise from a nearby club and street noise. The rooms are definitely not sound proof . The rooms are very large and they ar wold but in decent shape. But the bathrooms are in need of a big overhaul. The caulking in the bathtubs all need to be redone and more attention needs to the bathrooms as a whole. I am disappointed in the stay and do not recommend.
