Grosvenor Hotel Adelaide by Accor

The hotel is very dated and my shower floor leaked into the bedroom and made the room smell damp  This let to me having to run a fan all the time to stop the room smelling  Tuti the cleaning lady was very good and always made a refreshing change  They were down to one  elevator so it was getting to be a pain to use  No bar for the night time and no hot food for breakfast this lead to eating out everyday  Parking was good and worked well  Case storage is available if you ask the right person I was at first told no but when checking out given the opportunity to do this  Hotel is right on the train station  and can be easy access for trips away  Summing up my stay it worked ok bit dated and a leaking shower ment I went out every day and never stayed in  The tv was also not very good channels never worked and stopped and started all the time

Good location and great value. Staff were friendly and helpful. However, the hotel is old and requires major cleaning especially for the carpet. The breakfast is not recommended.

We booked this 3 star hotel in Adelaide purely for its location close to an event we were attending. Upon arrival, we were surprised to find the lift was out of order. Thankfully, a second lift was operational but only with the down button, but it wasn’t the most welcoming start. Check in was handled by friendly staff who offered a warm smile, though nothing beyond the basics in terms of service. Once we reached our room on the 5th floor, it was hard to ignore the issues: part of the ceiling was missing and the carpets were noticeably dirty. While the room itself was functional, the bed felt more like a slab of timber than a mattress definitely not made for comfort. We left our bag and headed out, but I couldn’t shake the uneasy feeling the hotel gave me. Ultimately, we made the decision not to stay overnight and returned later to collect our bag and check out. This may be a suitable spot for some travellers who prioritise location above all else, but unfortunately, it wasn’t the right fit for us.

These are minor things as feedback for the hotel, make sure your cleaners check that the previous customer's hair is removed from the shower wall and your receptionists make themselves available to serve new customers checking in instead of chit chatting to one another. Would like to have toothbrush as part of amenities It can get noisy at night. However the hotel room and bathroom is quite spacious compared to Ibis Adelaide, another budget friendly hotel and the bed is comfortable. The location is so close to the trams and trains and walking distance to Rundell Mall.

Was good but room was really stuffy and hot. Could not adjust any temperature in the room
