Franklin Apartments

The place was great but the main problem room doesn’t have a window , air conditioning unit or any electric fan which you’re unable to shut the door at night coz there’s no ventilation inside.

The Franklin Apartments are perfectly located for anyone seeking to explore the city's popular attractions, restaurants and shopping highlights. The facilities whilst ageing were very clean and and fitted out with a full kitchen and a laundry containing washing machine and dryer. Reception operates 9am to 5pm and for my wife and I the staff exceeded their contract supplying us tourist information, directions and extra tea and coffee to make us comfortable in our room.

The apartment was clean and functional. It has everything you would need for an extended stay., including washing machine and dryer. We actually live in the northern suburbs of Adelaide but we were going to a show that night and decided we would not drive home. It had parking for $30 per night which we thought was a bargain. The receptionist was lovely when we checked in. The only complaint from both my husband and myself was that the pillows were not to our liking. Using both pillows proved too high, one was too low, and they were much too firm for us. Other than that, I can't complain. ☺️☺️

Location is central, close to Central bus terminal, Central market, Chinatown, Victoria Square tram stop. Amenities are basic, but it’s acceptable considering the price. The kitchen has basic cooking wares and utensils. The living room is spacious. The bedrooms are neat and tidy out a bit small.

The apartment is very conveniently located in the centre of the city, easy walking distance to attractions, transport, entertainment and shopping. Only the kitchen/lounge area has external windows so the bedrooms & bathroom are rather dark. Kitchen is well equipped. The single elevator is a bit slow so we preferred the stairs.

Seeing a show at HMT so very close and convenient location. Apartment was clean with everything needed for our stay. The carpark is a great addition however the entry is extremely narrow and low and very difficult to navigate in anything bigger than a very small car. Staff were excellent.
