Very nice, good sized, and air conditioned room. The food was also very good, mainly Mediterranean, and the staff was lovely, especially Irena, the lady who worked at the reception, who was very kind and gave us advice on how to get to some places we wanted to go, and George, the restaurant manager, who was lovely and always had a big smile on his face. A big plus is also that the hotel had three swimming pools, only one of them had nice and comfortable loungers by it, which were all gone by the crack of dawn. Undeniably, the best part of the hotel were the views. Absolutely stunning!

Nice hotel but bear in mind it is huge, village is a good description. Great room with shared swim up pool. Great facilities. Quiet location Staff quite helpful and pleasant. Credit to the cleaners. Hotel transport good for local beach or cheap price into town. Unfortunately a few gripes. Food definitely not 4 star quality expected. Cooked food not very hot unless you get to it quick. 3 star at most, some days 2. There is only one bar serving the whole site and if you are the other end of the site it's a bit of an extended round trip to walk to, especially with a lot of stairs, and you're only allowed 2 drinks per round. It didn't make all inclusive worthwhile as easier to walk to mini market for a bottle of wine or other alcohol and water. Put another bar the other end please. Bar closes at 11pm for all inclusive, have to pay after that. Bottled water not free! No hotel information in rooms. First couple of days spent traipsing to and from reception to find out meal times, wifi access, safe codes.

We were greeted by the hotel receptionist who was very helpful. The rooms have been revamped since May 2022. Very clean. Food was good however although a lot of the same choices each day . A slight drop in quality in food since 2022. Daytime and evening entertainment not as good as last year.

Short words - great experience. I stayed here with my family for one week and everything went very well. The hotel's prices are friendly, the rooms are clean and the hotel staff are doing a great job. I forgot my dear talisman chain in my room when I left the hotel and found out about it many days later when I was home already. Many thanks to the hotel staff for their honesty. The hotel employees did a perfect job helping me find it. Easy to communicate and each of them was interested to help me. I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends who will go to Crete and also myself will come back with my family again.

First off I would like to say reading the reviews me and my partner were a bit concerned before coming, everything sounded all doom and gloom. When we actually got here and after spending a day or two we realised the reviews were dead wrong. We absolutely loved our time here, it was clean, bigger than I thought it would be and absolutely everyone was so nice, especially the guy on reception at night (I didn't get his name unfortunately but he was amazing) he helped with everything, also Irene in the day time was really nice too. The rooms were always clean and we had an amazing view of the sea and the rest of Heraklion. Food was always nice with plenty of variety, but we also went out to the beach front for food and everything down there was cooked to perfection and reasonably priced. The entertainment team were lovely aswell, always saw them throughout the day and they were good on the evening The complaints I read were mainly really petty ones, yes the all inclusive terrace bar is up some stairs but it really isn't that far, could probably go from the opposite side of the pool, up to the bar, get your drinks and back down I maybe 3 minutes. The pool is artic though, but in the heat you don't really mind, not really as much a complaint as a brief warning lol Would highly recommend taking the free shuttle bus to the beach, the water is crystal clear, also recommend doing some of the excursions. We would definitely come back, can't speak highly enough of all the staff, especially the night bar staff, they were hilarious

Returned to this wonderful hotel on September 24th. I have to say, this hotel juet gets better every time. The hotel continues to work to add more luxury, with new amazing sunbeds. The new restaurant Marea is a great addition for an evening of relaxation with amazing music every Thursday and Saturday. On arrival, Irene was there in reception with her warm, friendly smile. She goes out of her way to keep you happy throughout your stay and really gives everything she has to the job from the heart. I cant find a single negative to say about this hotel. It sits on the hills with the most scenic view unrivalled on the entire island that I could wake up to every day. I always travel around upon every visit and find this just amazing. The entire team at the hotel give everything. I really feel guilty to name anyone. Fabio has also been a great addition to the entertainment this year. I can't wait for 2024 for the next return. I hope the team stay in good health and have a good end to 2023. See you in 2024
