I had a pleasant stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Agra. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with spacious rooms and friendly staff who were always willing to help. The location is convenient for visiting the Taj Mahal and other attractions in Agra. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and I would recommend this hotel to both business and leisure travelers.

As usual, I received great service from Hilton the moment I stepped into the Lobby of DoubleTree, Agra. The Lobby manager was fantastic in helping my wife to take a glimpse of the evening Taj Mahal and helped me to procure some urgent equipment. At the restaurant, North 27, the service I received was sincere and very hospitable. The staffs were very helpful in explaining the Indian  food and how to enjoy them fully. Lily and Biaki were both fantastic and loving and found myself amazed they were still trainees. You can hardly fault them and they were just like little bees flying around us to serve us and make our dining experience excellent. Have to give it to the restaurant management, they are doing a great job! 🐜 a

The booking service for the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, and Fatehpur Sikri was excellent. The staff were very helpful. The breakfast and dinner buffets were varied and well-stocked, but the bar service was very slow. The pool was lovely once you got used to the street noise from the horns.

The room was clean and there's a pharmacy right across from the hotel. I booked a package with a dinner buffet, and they had Indian food to try. It was really worth the price!

I arrived at the hotel early in the morning (between 10-11 AM) and they let me use the pool right away, and I was able to check in early very quickly. The welcome cookies were delicious too! The room felt a bit dated, but it was neatly organized, so there were absolutely no issues using it. Especially the bedding! Hilton's bedding is always great, after all. And the manager who tidied up the room was very friendly. Whenever I asked for something I needed, they promptly took care of it. The pool water was a bit chilly, but it was great to be able to swim from early morning until late at night, and I also appreciated having a steam sauna. The breakfast and dinner were more traditional Indian cuisine than Western, so at first, I wondered what to eat, but everything was clean, and I didn't get sick after eating. There's also a souvenir shop, and they sell good products without significantly overcharging. The location was also great; it's a 10-minute taxi ride to the Taj Mahal or a 40-minute walk, which was perfect for getting around during the Holi festival. It's on a main road too, so it didn't feel dangerous.

The environment is peaceful and the food is fresh.

10/10 experience

Overall, it was a positive experience. However, a lapse on my part at check-out ended my stay on a sour note. Specifically, I had forgotten an envelope containing 20 fifty-euro banknotes in the nightstand drawer in my room. When I returned almost an hour later, I found only 19 banknotes; one was missing. I should blame myself for being careless. But it's not right that a staff member, who entered the room for checks after my check-out and before I returned, took the banknote. Oh well, I'll try to be more careful next time.

The hotel was clean, staff very friendly and helpful. Spa looked good although didn’t get a chance to use. We used the concierge to do the Taj Mahal & Red Fort visit and he was excellent. Got us in as one of the first without hassle. Also for a reasonable price. We also used their contact to get a taxi to Ranthambore and they were phenomenal. Great stay. Great people. Highly recommend.

Great hotel around 10 minutes from the Taj east gate. It is definitely an oasis in an area that is otherwise quite impoverished. Definitely not great for a walk with all the construction. Metro is also accessible by 12 minutes walk. Room was clean and staff was friendly. Room is a little bit dated but everything worked just fine. Overall highly recommend!

I stayed for two nights and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious and the location was great, plus the breakfast and dinner buffets were delicious. I'd love to stay here again the next time I visit Agra.

I wouldn't stay in Agra for more than one day and this hotel is perfect for this. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Bathroom could use some maintenance but it was clean. We ate at the buffet restaurant on the evening and morning and the food was fresh and varied like what you would expect from an international hotel brand. Location is ok I guess, but again we went to Agra to see the Fort and the Taj, not the city that is beyond crowded and messy. As anywhere in India, staff will pressure for tips but nothing to be annoyed by.
