We came here on our honeymoon and truly loved our experience. Highlights below: Staff -Everyone speaks English. You won’t find kinder, more accommodating staff at a hotel almost anywhere else in Europe. The waiters and waitresses are caring and friendly. We were so excited to see our servers and hosts at every meal -Front desk / concierge folks bend over backwards for you. If you have an allergy, an ailment, whatever it may be, they’ll handle it -Lifeguards all amazing people -Cleaning staff were excellent Property / activities -We don’t golf, but this property is situated on a golf course. It looked great though -Gym / spa were top notch. It felt like I was lifting weights in a museum. They also have pretty much every piece of equipment you need -Pool is huge and clean. Very comfortable and plenty of chairs -Beach. You can’t come here and not go to the beach. Bring plastic sandals. If you don’t have them, the hotel does in the rooms. Getting into the ocean is a little rocky, but it’s serene. They provide towels, water, and an umbrella. We loved this part -Rooms are spacious, modern, and comfortable. Can I live here permanently?! When I have a house, I want it to look like this -Property itself is immaculate Food: -Chef Fulvio knows what he’s doing. Almost all of the food is local and some is even grown on the property! -For breakfast, try everything. We loved the buffet and eggs -Lunch - eat at the bar. Order pasta. You won’t regret it -Dinner - there are a few options. We didn’t go to the sushi pop-up, but the fish restaurant (Amare) was spectacular and Zagara ended up being delicious. Would pass on Liola -Drinks - try as much local booze as you can. Sicilian tequila, gin, spritzes, and *****nis are to die for. The bartenders / severs are also lovely people Price -You get what you pay for. We felt as if Verdura was worth every penny. 5/5. Thank you, everyone. You made the first part of our trip very special. We will you again one day, but likely with our kids!!!!
