The room was very old and I was very disappointed after I went there. There were also a lot of bugs. The most important thing is that the boss made a reservation in advance whether to have dinner or not, and did not tell the price in advance. Only after checking out did he realize that he had been cheated. The dishes were less delicious and much more expensive than outside!

Wonderful location with views on the ancient greek temples. Very nice family owned and run B&B in a large beautiful garden with smells of spices and fruits of all kinds. If you can you must participate in one of the dinners the family is offering. What a nice stay with a nice and lovely family! Strong recommendation.

Absolutely beautiful! The grounds and the view were breathtaking. Highly recommend staying here. Our room was spacious, very clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom and shower area was very pretty. The tile work was beautiful. All the orange, lemon and olive trees were incredible. Never stayed anywhere like it. But the best part was the breakfast!!! Oh my so delicious. Our host and his housekeeper were very warm and friendly. Again, I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. Would definitely go again.

This is an incredible, child-friendly place, with lush views that stretch past the temples— lit up at night!— all the way to the sea. Our room was gigantic, with a large, well-appointed terrace and a really comfortable bed. You park in a gated area and can walk to the archeological park, there’s a swing my son loved, and we had fresh oranges right off the tree at breakfast. But most wonderful is the kind family who owns the property. Luca not only gave us a tour of the special olive trees on the farm, but when we left our coats behind— which we’ll need for snowy New York! He went out of his way to send them on to our last hotel. Staying here is like staying with family- if your family owned a villa overlooking a major historic site. It’s marvelous- don’t hesitate to book.

The owner is such a nice guy and always smiling willing to help you to have the best stay possible at his Villa.The place is great, large garden with oranges, lemons and other trees/plants where you can just wander. Parking onsite behind a closed gate and most importantly a great view into the countryside with sights of the two temples in the Valley of Temples. The breakfast is amazing with just-out-of-oven cakes and homemade orange juice. The staff are really helpful and caring. The room itself if spacious enough with nice bathroom and a patio in front.

It was like a vacation from our vacation. We could've stayed here for a week. Unfortunately we only stayed two nights. There was so much that was perfect with this place. From the outdoor hot tubs that overlook the Valley of the Temples, to the little cantina bar with it's bartender who makes a mean limoncello spritz, the nice breakfast buffet every morning, the friendly staff, a comfortable bed, and the location to the nearby excellent restaurant Trattoria dei Templi. We actually never even went into Agrigento itself. The B&B is located away from the busy city, and near the Temples. But it's just a short walk to restaurants. When we had to leave very early the next morning before the breakfast buffet, the staff laid out a smaller buffet just for us! So nice.

My husband and I only spent 1 night here and we loved it -- large apartment, great breakfast spread, and very welcoming host. We only wish we would have spent another day here because the property looks like a nice place to simply relax and soak up la dolce vita of Sicilian life. La Lumia is well situated to both the ancient sites of Agrigento and the sights of the town. We will definitely stay again if we're in Agrigento in the future.

The grounds were beautiful with views of the temples and the sea. We were able to walk to the temples from the property. Luigi and his family were very welcoming and helpful. The dinner they prepared on the Terrace was delightful. We would stay here again.

We enjoyed our time here. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and location convenient. Breakfast was very good and served on the sunny terrace. We took advantage of a dinner prepared by the on-site chef. We had no regrets. The dinner was generous and well prepared. All the staff were eager to help in any way they could. One small negative about our stay - the hot water supply was a bit erratic.
