A notch above. Condo interior desperately needs an uplift from the 1980s, but the security, seclusion and amenities Villa Montańa provides for such a small neighborhood is next tier. I would have liked more explanation about the room orientation to the water (ie walk time, view from front door, etc.), but nothing Google maps didn't help resolve. Very pet friendly. Not a place to go if you avoid dogs as many guests have their furry friends present. Only downside was overhearing pretentious guests with wildly selfish demands and disrespecting staff. Otherwise, a two minute walk to the beach with a drink in hand. Thanks Orlando at guest servoces for the donuts too!

It was a nice property, Rooms can be a little odd as I believe they open up into bigger condos when owners are in town. Rooms are comfortable enough, our locks never worked our whole stay. It was an easy drive into town for more food options if you wanted. The restaurant was very good!! it did however take a long time to get a drink or food. Overall nice but not a whole lot of bang for your buck here.

Black mold everywhere in the bathroom and clearly being painted over and over to try and hide it. The walls are paper thin, could hear the neighbors conversations day and night. Dated, dirty and definitely not as pictured. Bikes for use are not allowed out of the parking lot, the front desk checked them out, said nothing, we went to the gate and he said no, went back inside to get permission and was met with “of course you can’t take them on the bike path.” What’s the point of offering bikes? The key didn’t work to our unit, asked for a different room and was evening willing to pay more if necessary and was told no. Tub didn’t drain properly so I stood in an inches of water for every shower. Planes taking off overhead day and night. If you want to eat at the restaurant, make sure to make reservations. They won’t seat you without them, went into town to eat instead, would’ve been nice to know at check in. This is not a resort! I also stayed over in the Rincon area at a beautiful resort for the same price, definitely worth it! Check out The Horned Dorset, customer service was amazing, the lady at Villa Montana could learn a thing or too from them!

Everything is well kept, but our unit was utterly charmless and old. Temperature at our arrival was set to a freezing 62 degrees, not exactly eco-friendly. We liked the restaurant by the water a lot, everyone was very friendly and the food was excellent although expensive. There is a natural area right next to the hotel for long walks ar the beach. The water in front of the hotel is wavy, but there are some nice coral heads and fish. The pool area is bare, all fenced in like a prison, not a friendly place. The grounds are a bit boring, but the many palm trees host a lot of birds, even parrots.

No hot water. Definitely showing it's age.

Resort is very beatiful and quiet. We enjoyed our stay. Thw downside was that we stayed 3 nights and didnt get any type of room service and the room didnt even had a trash can. I suggest to offer room service for stays that are 2 nights or more.

The location is wonderful and secluded. It has it's own beach and lots of onsite amenities. However, I do believe the location should have a sundry type of market or convenience shop as there is nothing around to grab snacks. There is one restaurant that has water and food. And although delicious, a small type market or some options at the front desk would be great. Also, you either have to take a car ride or rent a car to get to anyhere outside of the resort. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend to anyone visiting.
