Aitutaki Escape

Thomas and their team were very welcoming and they managed to make our stay special. The lagoon tour they booked for us with Teking was very good, and the car they booked for us was also very convenient. Breakfasts were varied and quite complete. The villa is very nicely set, very comfortable and the beach is quite private since few people go by walking. The kayaks are a plus to explore the lagoon in high tide. The dinner we had at the small Cafe of the owners in the property was very good. We recommend you to try it (but they open just a couple of days per week). We also recommend you to try Avatea Cafe in the middle of the island, and their wonderful fish tacos. And we had lunch once at Pacific Resort and it was very good. The food truck with burgers and fish & chips just in front of the villas is quite good as well. We had an amazing time at Aitutaki, as it is a very special island.

We had the most wonderful time at Aitutaki Escape. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and made to feel completely at home. The villa was spacious, private, and beautiful with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Waking up to stunning lagoon views each morning felt like a dream, and the quiet, peaceful setting made it the perfect place to unwind. The staff went above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of, making our time here so special!!!

Amazing position, loved the beach in front of the bungalow.. the bungalow is very big and comfortable with plenty of space outside both in the beach front area and back area where there is a private small pool and garden. I would love to come back here!

From the moment we arrived, Aitutaki Escape lived up to its name — pure tranquility and luxury. Liz greeted us at the airport with a warm smile and flower eis, and Thomas and the team were waiting at our villa to get us settled in with genuine island hospitality. Even though we arrived late on a Sunday, Thomas arranged an excellent restaurant booking so we could relax straight away. Our villa was stunning — authentic in design, spotlessly clean, and perfectly comfortable with options for natural airflow or air conditioning. The private pool and beachfront view were simply “wow” — peaceful, remote, and unforgettable. Breakfasts were amazing, with thoughtful extras to snack on throughout the day. The amenities were first-class: kayaks, great local tips, and access to their wealth of local knowledge. The staff struck that perfect balance of warm and personal service without ever being intrusive. We also loved the onsite café, open a few times a week, serving beautifully prepared and unique dishes. And for dining out, Thomas worked magic with restaurant reservations — even at the hard-to-get spots. Aitutaki Escape offers a unique blend of authenticity, luxury, and heartfelt care. It’s worth every dollar and more. The small parting gifts were a nice touch. We couldn’t fault a thing and can’t wait to return to this little slice of paradise.

We were here for about a week. We were very impressed by the very kind hospitality of Thomas, his wife and all the staff. We were able to enjoy an extraordinary vacation in a wonderful location and facilities. The homemade breakfast each morning was also very delicious. We will definitely use your services again the next time we visit Aitutaki. Thank you all very much!
