This pensione-style accommodation is an authentic Ottoman era house right on the doorstep of the Old Town. The room was very small and the ensuite was cramped which made for a claustrophobic feel, but the hosts were very friendly and one night gave me a free meal! And the position was perfect, I think fine for a one-night stay but beyond that there are better options.

Everything was perfect. The room was very clean (after entering the hotel, you can leave your shoes downstairs so you don't step over carpets with dirty shoes, this is how much clean it is) . And the owner was really friendly and helpful. The view is nice and the location of the hotel is ideal. There is no parking problem. Inernet connection is available.

A charming mansion that has not lost its historical texture. It is definitely one of the places to stay. If we come to Safranbolu again, it is the only place we will stay. Right in the center of Safranbolu, within walking distance to all the attractions. The owner of the mansion, Cemil Bey, welcomed us very warmly and sincerely both during the reservation phase and when entering the mansion. He gave us all the information about the area. Hot tea on the balcony in the evenings and mornings was on top of everything. We stayed as two children and two adults. There was no problem with cleaning. You enter by taking off your shoes at the entrance. You can go and stay without hesitation. We were satisfied. We thank Cemil Bey for his interest and attention.

We stayed for 2 nights. The hotel is very central. The general problem of Safranbolu is the parking problem. The rooms are clean. The family who run the business are extremely well-intentioned and decent people. Since it is a small business, there are some old products in the rooms and toilets. This is sometimes perceived as dirtiness, but it is not.
