The best part was the hot pots overlooking the fjord, magical at night or anytime. You walk over a little bridge to a private area, so bundle up! The dining area also had great views. It was fun to sleep in the loft area, functional small rooms, perfect for a stop over.

We came for coffee with cake. They just had normal coffee. We ordered 1 apple pie and 1 chocolate cake. The apple pie was soft and heated, with ice and clotted cream .the chocolate cake was also with ice , more like a dessert.Both were not tasty, like the coffee . The price for 2 coffee and 2 precies of cake was 6.200 ISK./ 44 euro.. Ridiculous!!

My pregnant fiancé and I stayed for one night and we couldn’t imagine a better weekend. The food was great, we loved the hot tubs, the location is amazing, and we got to check out late - which was well appreciated. The whole vibe is very cozy.

The hotel overlooks the fjord, which is beautiful. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was nice with eggs, bacon, yogurt, and croissants. The hot tubs were also nice. Cons: the hotel is very outdated. The room water is non-potable and smells awful. The room also was very dusty suggesting that not all areas are wiped down between guests. They also tried to charge for us for dinner that we did not have at check out. The Wi-Fi was spotty at best. Located quite far from Akranes.

Slightly worn interior but clean and reasonable size interesting room with bed in mezanine over the seating area and bathroom. Breakfast OK but evening meals whilst well cooked were overwhelmed by sauces.

Hôtel situé dans un cadre majestueux bonnes prestations chambres spacieuses avec lit sur une mezzanine. Nous avions une superbe vue sur le golfe. Cet endroit est calme depuis que le tunnel permet d’éviter le détour ( qui vaut le détour).Le petit déjeuner est parfait. Le restaurant revient un peu cher mais de très bonne qualité. Ne vous inquiétez pas de l’odeur dans la salle de bain cela vient certainement de l’eau chaude qui sent le souffre.N’oubliez pas de profiter des bains chauds.

Hotel con vistas muy buenas si eliges y pagas esa opción, las habitaciones con buenas camas pero poco operativas para gente mayor ya que hay que subir escalera dentro de la habitación, no hay ascensor y subir maletas grandes una planta cuesta bastante, el restaurante cierra pronto y si llegas después del cierre no hay ningún servicio para tomar algo, disfrutamos del hot tuv que disponen y relaja mucho, el desayuno completo y de calidad
