Overall, it was a good stay and the kids had a blast. It's quite a drive from Abu Dhabi, but definitely worth staying for 1-2 nights. We chose a guided hiking activity ourselves, which was a truly unique experience.

Booked a two-bedroom suite, and the view was absolutely stunning, but the room itself was incredibly small and cramped. The shower pressure was very low, and there were quite a few bugs. The hotel only has one restaurant, and the food was just okay. I feel like one night here is enough; it falls a bit short compared to other desert hotels.

The drive towards the desert was increasingly breathtaking! The hotel grounds are expansive, and all the rooms are in standalone bungalows. The service was excellent; they proactively helped with luggage, and the shuttle arrived quickly. Everything was great, except for the somewhat limited dinner selection!

While the hote location is beautiful. Their service is terrible. Miscommunication related to buggy rides with your spot being canceled for no reason, only when you stand firm and demand the spot you booked all of a sudden things work. 4 reminders over two hours to get some juice and drinks to no avail, ordered a BBQ in the villa under the assumption that someone would grill it, find out later that I have to do it myself while paying a small fortune for less than a kg of meat. Then they dont finish setting the grill disappear for 45 mins with no feedback (oh and still not juice and drinks ) they bring ice tweezers and expect you to grill with them. SEVERAL CALLS TO THE RECEPTION, they come back with tweezers from the buffet and the guy that came does not even know how to setup the grill. All in all a horrible experience. Oh and my terrace still has a beer from a previous guest. Will not repeat it again .

It's a kind of magic! It's quite a long journey to get there, but the experience is truly worth it. Besides the unforgettable desert experience at different times of day, you can add various activities from the hotel. And on top of that, there are cozy villas, friendly staff, and excellent food. It's especially suitable for residents of large cities—it's a complete reboot.

So we had a short getaway at the resort. It is nestled in the dunes and thats quite an experience. Infact it had less light pollution in the horizon than Al Qua ( famed to be the darkest place in UAE but not in my experience ) . Our waitress at dinner was a wonderful, friendly girl from Mynammar , Yammin was her name . We would like to thank her through this review for how genuinely she took care of us at a busy buffet dinner night because we were having ala carte :-) !! All in all a nice weekend for us, i do have to mention the way to travel within the resort was through golf carts and we never had to call up to remind them. The cart would be there in 5 to 10 mins ....and the hotel was fully booked last weekend. So will recommend it for sure.

The hotel photos are beautiful! The room itself was pretty standard, nothing special. We stayed for two days and had a great time. The public area pool was quite good, and they offered car service for transfers. The staff's service attitude was also good.

This stay in the two-bedroom villa was incredibly comfortable. The room and bedding were spotless, and the view was an endless desert, offering an extraordinary experience for watching sunrises and sunsets. The kitchenette didn't have a stove for cooking, but it did have a toaster, a capsule coffee machine, and a mini-fridge. The service was very attentive, always ready to help. In the evening, soaking in our private pool and stargazing, we truly experienced the serene solitude of the desert. The food was Middle Eastern cuisine, and since it's desert for miles around, there are no other restaurants. The desert ATV ride was thrilling, and the free sandboarding activity was also great. The 0.8-meter single beds in the twin room are perfect for children and women.

Unique experience in the middle of the desert. Very attentive service from the team, esp. shout out for good food. Aldi, the chef from India prepared really nice creamy pasta in the dinner buffet.

The hotel's brochure uses the Chinese name "Bateen Liwa," which is much easier to remember than the one on Ctrip. We left Abu Dhabi at 3:30 PM and arrived at 7:30 PM, driving cautiously along the way and enjoying a desert sunset. The journey was quite long; a bit further and we would have been out of the UAE. Upon checking in, I noticed the lobby was full of fellow Chinese guests. The resort is surrounded by endless desert, with no other dining options available besides the 280 AED per person buffet. It was decent, nothing spectacular. The room facilities were as described, and I had a wonderfully peaceful night's sleep in the desert. We booked a two-bedroom villa, but the master bathroom was a bit small, and the faucet design was poor; it was easy to get scalded if not careful when adjusting the temperature. Due to jet lag, I woke up at 5:30 AM. The profound stillness before dawn and the starry sky were priceless. Villa 19 offers the best and closest view of the sunrise. The breakfast was excellent. I recommend eating outdoors in early October; the indoor air conditioning is too cold, while it's dry and cool outside. By 9 AM, it starts getting a bit warm outdoors. In conclusion: This hotel definitely surpasses even the top-tier desert hotels in China. It's truly a king when it comes to value for money, even during the National Day holiday.

The service was great, but the breakfast selection was limited. The bed was too soft, which gave me a backache. The private pool was very small and a bit dirty, which is understandable given the strong winds in the desert. You can also ride a motorcycle to watch the sunrise; it's just a 2-minute walk. That sunrise trek doesn't need to cost 100 dirhams; that's just for the shuttle service. We checked in on the afternoon of the 1st and left on the afternoon of the 4th, which felt like a bit of a waste of time and quite boring. I'd recommend staying for 2 nights at most. We also met some kittens, and I hope they stay healthy!

The room was quite a distance from the front desk, so we had to call for a golf cart to pick us up. On our last day, checking out with a mountain of luggage, we tried calling for a cart. Either the phone was broken or they were incredibly busy, but it was constantly engaged. Frustrated, we asked a housekeeper nearby to radio for a cart. He said it would be 10 minutes, but we waited an hour and it never showed up – absolutely ridiculous! In the end, we had to run out ourselves and flag down a cart. I couldn't help but swear at the front desk, saying, "I waited one f***ing hour!" All I got back was a perfunctory "sorry." Also, be warned: the camel riding and quad bike tours are a rip-off, so avoid them if you can.

Outstanding stay! Absolute peace! Just what I needed. The villa was beautiful and the staff were great. I will definitely return
