The resort is wonderful and a really relaxing place to be. The suites are huge with the world’s most comfortable bed! Breakfast is good. The staff and service are exceptional and very attentive. They speak many languages and can’t do enough to help. It is 24km out of town which makes it quiet but not a base to explore the city. The only thing that could be improved is the tiny food menu which serves as room service, lunch and dinner, it’s very limited and so bland, in a country of herbs, spices and world class flavours, even the pizza is tasteless. I’m sure this will be addressed. I’d come back in a heartbeat

Friendly, well managed and efficient staff including the manager Faical and Abderrahim amongst others. We were made to feel very welcome in a relaxed atmosphere. Room spacious with lovely views of the Atlas mountains and well manicured hotel grounds and pool area.

My overall rating is 4.5/5! We had an absolutely lovely 5-day holiday. We arrived at 11am and were able to check in straight away. The suites were a great size, including a lounge area, a huge bathroom, and a terrace. Staff worked extremely hard and nothing was too much for them to accommodate your needs. Pros- peaceful, clean, good customer service Cons- same menu all day, no onsite shop to buy snacks. Would I return? Yassss! Most definitely will be back.

What a great holiday! From the moment our taxi arrived at Sumahan, we were made to feel VERY welcome! The staff couldn’t have been better. So very attentive but not overbearing - a hard balance to strike I find. The hotel was exceptionally clean and it was oh so peaceful. You drive down the dusty road with not much in sight, then out of nowhere turn into a pocket of greenery, in a beautiful oasis and garden setting. The views of the Atlas Mountains on a clear day are incredible - breakfast outside with that view was lovely. Great intimate dinner setting too with a roaring fire. The hotel was so quiet too - you heard nothing but the birds chirping in the morning which was relaxing. The cleaning staff were also great - the room was always cleaned by the time we got back from breakfast. Oh, and the breakfast! It was huge! Delicious. The tagine was delicious too. The massage was amazing too! Just loved the whole experience of the hotel and Morocco. Thank you!!

We had the best time! From the moment we arrived we felt welcome and safe! Staff are fantastic, food is delicious and the hotel is in an amazing location. Perfect for some winter sun. 20minute drive into Marrakech and 20minute drive to the dessert!!
