Hotel was clean the only down side was no turnover service and maids could not understand we were asking for towels and sheets

I stayed at the Comfort Inn several years ago and was impressed by the condition of the property and the attention to details. The door to the room did not slam shut and the carpeting was padded so you were not hearing others roaming around all the time.
This visit, there was a trail of crumbs up the stairs that no one bothered to vacuum by the next day. The condition of the room was not as good like it had seen heavy use. The breakfast was decent and went beyond just bagels and cereal. It is an acceptable place to stay but nothing special.

Bathroom sink drained really slow. I could smell the drain cleaner used to unplug it throughout the room.
Couldn't get anyone to answer the phone to report the issue.

Some of the property is remodeled. I was in a room that had been redone so it was ok (the carpet was pieces together & didn’t match up). The other hallway was very outdated & seemed dirty (but maybe just because it was old carpet). It was quiet & comfortable though.

I stayed one night before a day long conference at the Okemos Event Center. Nice cliean and quiet room. Friendly staff.

It was nice! Got the job done for a quick one night stay in town. Some of the sheets in the rooms were not clean and had stains on them however.

Clean comfortable room. Efficient check in. Breakfast was fine w waffles, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, cereal, milk, juice, muffins, hot eggs/sausage. MSU was about 15 min or less drive in town. Very easy.
