Kevin greeted my husband and me by name on arrival, a level of personal service I’ve never experienced before, despite staying in hotels all around the world. It was the little touches and attention to detail that made our stay so memorable. The breakfast was simple, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. Everything was thoughtfully done, and we genuinely couldn’t fault a thing. Our only regret is that we didn’t book a spa treatment! We would happily return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for exceptional hospitality.

Background- I had booked a stay here for GD and GSIL as a Christmas gift a few years ago. They raved about their experience. FF to 25 and it was my turn. Arrival: Easy access and parked at the front in the Dean St around 5pm. Kevin gave me a warm welcome, offered me a wine and explained the property and my studio, Diddley. I'd booked Diddley because as a solo this was a room which was not charging for 2 on the amenities, something that as a frequent solo traveller I encounter all too often. The Room: Despite being a "room" this was a spacious area, huge bathroom, sitting space, TV and light and airy. The room is located in front of the carpark and lane. At no point did I feel a loss of privacy or was disturbed by noise. Bathroom: A large L shaped bathroom added an interesting touch and the thought behind the design was evident. It gave the room a more spacious feel, but with the shower and wc tucked into private space. Loved the addition of a reusable cosmetic towel rather than wipes! The main guest area: I didn't spend a lot of time in the communal area, however did enjoy my 2 pre dinner drinks and interesting conversation with Kevin. Just the right balance of social versus solo. Plenty of space to sit and enjoy. Breakfast: Perfect. OMG, the croissant. Best I've had since France! The breakfast itself is the perfect size and I loved the in room as I was able to just sit back and enjoy then get ready for my day. Conclusion: This is a perfect place to spend a night or 2 in Albury. The region has a lot on offer and the accommodation is ideal for a discerning traveller. Personal service is evident and sets the property apart from the many cookie cutter places that abound in regional NSW. I'll certainly return!

We were staying in Albury for 1 day on our way to Melbourne and happened to notice Circa 1928 as it looked different to the other hotels in Albury. We are very glad thay we found it. This hotel is a small Boutique Hotel and is immaculately presented. The room was very spacious and clean. Kevin the owner was very friendly and helpful. He was always there to provide any assistance. The breakfast is included with the room and it was excellent and well presented. There was even a turn down service in evening. Parking was also included. I have no hesitation in recommending this place to anyone who is looking for a hotel in Albury.

Rest and relaxation in a luxurious setting. After city travel this was a welcome break. A wonderful welcome from a fabulous host. The attention to detail with a sleep box, amazing bath, nightcap and amazing breakfast delivered to the room. We could not have asked for more. Albury is a lovely town to visit too. We loved our stay here just wish it had been longer.

We had a excellent overnight stay here and have already recommended it to friends. From arrival to departure everything was great, the welcome drink, the nightcap and breakfast were all excellent. Having a cold beer in the room was a plus for me and being in Dean Street nothing to very far. Comfortable well sized rooms with a ample sized bathroom as well. the bath looked inviting but we did not use it. The attention given to our needs to brilliant and the art in the room and in the public areas is quite stunning - defiantly a place everyone should stay or at least visit to shop at when in Albury.
