For a five-star hotel, the general service does not fall into this category. They guaranteed that there was a jacuzzi in their room, and we found ourselves having a simple bathtub without even hydromassage. The room is called deluxe...there is no luxury...the infinity swimming pool provides inactive services. A decent rest. Very attentive staff.

Event was well organised, good meeting rooms and facilities. Helpful and friendly staff. Good food, excellent breakfast. Bedrooms are beautiful, the cleaning staff are friendly and efficient. Huge hotel but somehow feels personal as well.

What a fantastic stay. Truly 7 days of bliss, in the most idyllic of surroundings. The hotel was incredibly clean throughout with great attention to detail and cleanliness. The rooms were comfortable and the suite was perfect space for a family of four.the entertainment whilst not what we would usually do, was thoroughly enjoyable. The pools have been fantastic for my children (aged 7 and 5) to grow their swimming with confidence. They have enjoyed the array of pools to choose from and loved the mini club. Again, a fantastic array of things for young children to do and learning about Canarian day, volcanoes etc - so culturally perfect too. We were incredibly impressed by the choice of food in the various restaurants. Booking some of them was a little challenging but the buffet accommodated for all requirements with fantastic choice and superb selection of world foods. Every single member of staff was welcoming, polite and helpful. We wanted to pass on particular thanks to a number of staff who were incredible ambassadors for the company. These were Jorges, Rosa, Carlos, Roberto, Alba, Sara, Larabas, Alex, Karen, Kare, Jose (ice cream aficionado) and Alex (children’s bouncy disco) and Laura (in guest experience) But really every member of staff seems happy to be at work. It has been the most wonderful holiday and we cannot wait to return.

The hotel is very nice, the staff are very friendly and kind. Especially the waiter Carlos from the Plaza Atlantica. We spend a few nice evenings right there and had a wonderful chat with him, as well as his service. The entertainment also was lovely.

What a beautiful hotel, something for everyone. Peace and tranquility for adults, very child friendly if you have kids. Pools galore! Quiet resort with nice walks. To upgrade to half board was pricey so we ate in local restaurants. The only stress was the 2 women allocating tables in the morning for breakfast. Seemed unnecessary and long queues built up. They just didn’t seem to have it under control. The rooms are beautiful. Would definitely love to return as an ideal location for some winter sun and relaxation!

We booked a 2 bedroom sea view room for our family going by the photos online. When we checked in our view was overlooking a car park with the sea on the horizon! After lengthy arguments with managers we moved room the following day. I would advise anyone looking to book here to forget about booking any meal plan. We had the all inclusive package and struggled to book a table at a restaurant at a decent time, we could only get 8.30pm every night despite booking for our whole weeks stay upon arriving! Last night we had the Japanese’s restaurant booked, we sat down at the show grill table to discover that the show cooking wasn’t part of the all include package and would be chargeable (55 euros each for a cup of fried rice with a handful of prawns and a bit of veg) We did ask to be moved to the non show cooking area which was included in our meal plan but told it was fully booked although we noticed that that area was over half empty the whole time we were there! We have also noticed at the other restaurants when arriving for our 8.30pm table that the restaurants were half empty so left wondering why we couldn’t have had an earlier seating. The food at all the restaurants we did eat in were of poor quality and the drinks included were limited. My 9 year old was left complaining of being hungry around 5.30 when restaurants had no service and there was nowhere to get a snack from. The positives from our stay were that the pool area’s are huge so never struggled to get a bed and the views from the larger pool overlooking the sea are amazing. The grounds are well kept, all in all a beautiful setting hence my 3 out of 5 rating otherwise would have been a 1 out of 5. If you could use the hotel as a base and forget about needing 5 star service, hire a car or factor in taxi rides to explore other restaurants then you’ll have a good time. We took a taxi to Fañabe beach and spent the day at a beach club for one of our days. We paid 80 euros for the use of a Bali bed while there which included 60 euros food/drink spend on anything we liked. This was by far the best service we experienced throughout our holiday! It’s our last night tonight and we will be heading out to eat outside the hotel as we are all bored and fed up with the hotels limited food and drink service! We’re disappointed we paid for the all inclusive package here.

At face value this hotel is absolutely gorgeous and luxury but it had a few little hiccups that I do not expect from a 5* hotel. First of all the housekeeping side of things need improvement, empty coke bottles, unwashed and used glasses from the night before were just left in our room all week. All they seemed to do was take our dirty towels and make our bed. Secondly, we found reception staff were sometimes not very helpful and would just redirect us as almost to try and get rid of us, at least that’s how it made us feel. Staff around the pool were rude to us after we sat on some beds that were wrongly placed (NOT BY US!) we apologised and moved immediately and then they came over and asked us what room number we were and we felt like they were picking on us. Most of the time the staff were absolutely lovely but this did annoy us. Also the service bell buttons were useless and we kept having to get up and go and fetch our own drinks. Not what you expect from a five star hotel

This hotel is absolutely amazing!! This was our fourth visit now, this time returning with our 5 year old daughter. We didn’t think the hotel could get any better from our last visit, however it exceeded all expectations. We stayed for 2 weeks and didn’t want to leave. The room, we were on the 4th floor, which suited us perfectly, we had a view of the fish pond which was beautiful. The room was cleaned each day, and we got free water still and sparkling refilled free of charge each day. We also got free soft drinks refilled each day from the mini bar free of charge, this was lovely as it was nice to have an ice cold bottle of Coke Zero while getting ready. The double sinks and shower were fantastic. Plenty of space in the room and bedding changed regularly. The pools The infinity pool is not only beautiful it’s fantastic to swim in, it was lovely and warm and the salt water was nice to be in. I never wanted to get out, with a view of the sea and lots of jacuzzi spots dotted around it was perfect. We also visited the family pool, which my 5 year old loved. It has a section in the middle which is shallow, and she loved diving down to collect her toys. It was always warm and the bar at the family pool was my favourite. My daughter went to get her own drinks and the bar team were amazing with her never ending requests for sin alcohol strawberry daiquiri’s. The bars, There are bars all over this place, I don’t understand previous reviews of people complaining. There is a bar within a few feet from each pool. There is one at the family pool and infinity pool, if you’re at the adult only pool you only have to take a very short walk down a couple of steps and the bar is on the grass, never any queues. It’s nice to get up every now and then from laying on the sunbed. The bar in the Plaza is table service only. We loved this, we never had to wait long to be served and they all work incredibly hard. Carlos, does an outstanding job, always happy, and great fun with the kids, also Karol is amazing too, always smiling and happy. Restaurants I want to start by saying we used the melia app and didn’t have any problems booking a restaurant. During our stay we visited L’Olio Italian restaurant 4 times. The Pizza’s here are the best I’ve had. They truly are delicious. We also visited oasis 2 times. We went to Agave most days for lunch I recommend the fish and chips here they’re amazing. We also visited Pangea and the selection of food in here is world class. Everything kept hot, lots of live food stations and plenty to choose from my daughter loved all the food too. Our favourite had to be Nami. Wow this place was great. I recommend you try the sweet and sour chicken and the bao buns. We also ate at the beach cafe on a few occasions, we used the starters menu as tapas as had plenty of food. Everyone was so friendly. Entertainment Kids entertainment was fun, we all enjoyed the silent disco, it was excellent in the lava disco. Last time we were in there
