Renion City Hotel (Opened in 2025)

The room is a bit small, but it's not cramped for a single person. Breakfast was plentiful, and the hygiene was good. It's very convenient, just a 30-minute drive to Jangbuljae Ski Resort and also 30 minutes to the airport.

I rarely leave reviews, but this hotel in Almaty is exceptionally good. **Amenities**: The hotel facilities are very comprehensive, equipped with wireless charging pads and Type-C ports. This means you can easily charge your phone even if you haven't brought an adapter. **Cleanliness**: The cleanliness is excellent. It's worth mentioning that the duvet is folded in a fully encased style, rather than just having two layers of linen on top and bottom of the duvet insert. This makes it very clean, and you don't have to worry about touching the insert itself. **Environment**: The hotel's location is also great, right in the city center. It's near 28 Panfilov Heroes Park, and going to the supermarket only takes a few minutes. There's also a convenience store next door, which is very comfortable. **Service**: The hotel staff are very friendly. We had quite a bit of luggage, and as soon as we got out of the car, we saw staff coming out to help us with our bags, which was very touching.

This hotel, newly opened in 2025, boasts an excellent location, just a 10-minute walk from the Church of the Assumption. The rooms are simply furnished but clean and tidy, and offer views of the snow-capped mountains.

This was my first time staying at a hotel in Almaty. It's about 16.5 km from the airport. I took a taxi around 8 AM to the hotel, and there was a bit of traffic. It's within 3 km of two train stations. The hotel breakfast is quite rich, especially for Chinese tastes, with boiled eggs and congee placed right inside the dining area on the right. Many Chinese company project staff stay here, so it feels a bit like a budget hotel, but the breakfast is excellent. What's particularly worth mentioning is that there's a 24-hour restaurant right next to the hotel. I had dinner there for about 19 RMB, consisting of egg and sausage fried rice, braised eggplant, and roasted pumpkin, which suited my Chinese palate perfectly, along with black tea. I also want to thank the young lady working the night shift on October 12th at 3:10 AM. The car picking me up for the airport went to the wrong place, and I was in a hurry. She quickly called a taxi for me, and it arrived in just 2 minutes. I gave her a big hug over the front desk! Thank you again!
