For a three-star hotel, the room facilities are quite basic, but the price is really a great deal. The front desk staff are warm and attentive, and communicating in Chinese was absolutely no problem. The upgraded breakfast was pretty good, and the dishes at the downstairs restaurant were especially delicious. I'd definitely consider staying here again next time I'm in Almaty.

The hotel's location is decent; it's about 5-6 kilometers from the city center with many bus options available. There's also a large supermarket nearby, which is convenient for shopping. If price is your only concern, this place might be okay. You can borrow a hairdryer from the front desk.
