Hotel Can Xiquet

We used the hotel for a stopover. And, as the reviews said, the view and location are beautiful and peaceful. The swimming pool is wonderful to cool off in after a day of driving. However, our further experience is not positive. We had the family suite (€400 for 1 night) with jacuzzi. After swimming, our daughters wanted to use this. However, after less than 2 minutes, one of my daughters' hair got tangled in the propeller of the jacuzzi. So bad that our daughter panicked and we had to cut off a piece of her hair to get her loose. Reported this immediately. According to the hotel, everything complies with the rules and there is nothing they can do about it. But I hereby WARN all parents, PLEASE WATCH OUT!!!! The cap is a bit loose and there are slits in the cap where the hair can fit (I have attached photos). My daughter is 12 and I was in the shower, so we were able to act quickly. We received a bottle of Cava with dinner as compensation, but NOT a word to my daughter 😓. Perhaps things will stand out if you have a negative experience, but as far as we are concerned there was also a lot of overdue maintenance. - many tiles with cracks in the bathroom - broken shower rod - black joints - leaking spot in the bathroom ceiling - a lot of dust on the heating - starting wasp nest (with wasps) in the window (outside) - at 8 o'clock the swimming pool and toilet are cleaned. This is located next to the parent's room, so there is no sleeping in due to noise and closing doors (noisy). Had a good meal in the restaurant. You only got nothing with the sandwiches in advance. No butter or other spread. And finally, at check-out, I was able to pay but I was not even asked how the stay had been. We thought it was (really) not worth this amount and the 4 stars, but we would especially like to warn parents. Please exercise caution when using the jacuzzi in the family suite.

Het hotel was op goed, omgeving prachtig. N.a.v. ons bezoek in het restaurant hebben wij na ons verblijf van 7 op 8 juni 2025 via de mail contact opgenomen. Maar helaas wordt hierop niet gereageerd. Daarom geen hoge beoordeling.

Parfait !!!! chambres,accueil, service ambiance petit dejeuner, et diner, 6 fois que l’on y va, on adore.personnel très accueillant et aimable, propreté irréprochable…en été la piscine est top, on se réveille avec le chant des oiseaux dans les oliviers magnifiques.👍🏻

Bel hôtel isolé, situé sur un site calme et verdoyant, Terrasse particulière donnant de très beau point de vue allant jusqu'à Rosas . belles chambres bien équipées. restaurant de bonne qualité. Salon avec cheminé fort sympathique , tables extérieures pour apéritif ou repas dans une belle ambiance...
