The night manager at the front desk was friendly, but that's where my positive comments end.
We checked in after Midnight, exhausted, and unpacked in our room. Shortly thereafter, we realized there was a cockroach on the wall.
I took a picture of it. We threw our stuff back in our bags and went back to the lobby. The manager had left the desk, so I left my keycard and we left. I didn't really feel like calling after him; I needed to find a clean bed to sleep in, and it wasn't going to be there.
I called the customer care line seeking a refund, and they directed me back to *******. ******* reached out for my refund and it was refused.
I was shocked at the sight of the roach, and am very disappointed that a refund won't be given even though I have proof that my room wasn't suitable for someone to stay in. Won't be staying in a Microtel again.
