Nobel Hotel Ameland

We had a wonderfull day at the island and enjoyed our stay at the Nobel hotel. The tasting of Nobels drinks next door is a nice treat and the room is lovely. The hospitality and service has been great and it is nice to sit by the fire and have a gin tonic in the evening. We will come here again!

It was our 3rd trip to Nobel (last time severall years ago) and we must say that it was even nicer this time. Great location...from rooms to restaurant. Remarkable for us was the quality of service. The whole team is extremly attentive and friendly. We will certainly come back

We stayed at Nobel over three days for our wedding in June, including the post wedding dinner celebration. From the time we arrived and throughout, we were hosted by a wonderful team of staff, all of whom learned very quickly to keep a bottle of Nobeltje handy. Wonderful dinner with matched wines. Lovely a la carte breakfast with great coffee. Rooms were luxurious and comfy, very welcome after some fast paced travel getting there from Australia. Topping it off was the thoughtful room decorations and champagne in the fridge after our wedding. Centrally located, the bike hire shop is just around the corner, so we hired bikes and spent the following day exploring the island (the dunes are an absolute must see!). Highly recommend this venue for couples and getaways where you need a bit of comfort after a day of adventure.

Very good hotel with good rooms. Clean and fully equipped. Very attentive staff who are always available. Before departure, an employee will contact you to ask if everything is arranged or if there is anything they can do. Free use of limited mini bar. Class.

Absolutely fantastic! The staff are amazing, the hotel extremely clean and comfortable. The restaurant food is to die for. This was our 4th visit and number 5 is in the cards for the end of the summer. Fred and Cecile

Had a brilliant stay at Nobel. Arrived very early because we forgot to book the ferry (it’s the Netherlands, stupid!) and had to take the first one. They gave us breakfast and the room was also ready. Great service! Rooms are cool and stylish. Same goes for the restaurant, great atmosphere and food. This place is actually the best reason to visit Ameland since the rest is pretty average. Except for the nature, of course.

we stayed in the church suite of the hotel. Everything is there to have a pleasant stay. the suite offers sleeping space for up to 6 people. 2 bedrooms are separated from the other adjoining rooms by a curtain. This can cause a privacy issue. Fully equipped kitchen and 2 bathrooms. There are a few downsides, the sofa may be replaced, it has seen better days. There is no bedside table in all sleeping areas. Due to COVID there was no cleaning during our stay. There were plenty of towels and a vacuum cleaner was present. The ladies and gentlemen at the reception are extremely friendly. We had a nice stay.
