If you have a car, you can visit Napa Valley as a base. The facilities inside the hotel are cozy and the staff is friendly.
As with Hansang, chocolate cookies seem to be very necessary.

The room is spacious, bed is comfortable, tv is big and has lots of programs.
The carpet is old and a bit icky. the hallway and staircase carpet is awful. The venting window outside my room in the hallway is super noisy. I asked for a room change, refused adamantly by the front desk.

it was a Napa gettaway, without being a Napa gettaway! We use it more like a 'gettaway from our kids. It is perfectly located between Napa and Vallejo!

Pro: Good food at the restaurant. The staff were nice.
Con: It was small ants and bugs around my room door and 1 was in my room. The stay would have been fine if not for that.

This Double Tree is not up to par with ones I have stayed in the past. It looks very old, the furniture needs an upgrade. It wasn't horrible, but I paid for the DoubleTree, not a motel… They are in the middle of renovations so hopefully they give all the rooms a face lift. I requested an infant crib, which is just a pack and play so I recommend you bring your own fitted sheet. The maid service is good though. I gave a 2/5 because I expect more from the DoubleTree.

We liked the outside of the property. It was clean and well kept. And the front desk staff were courteous and friendly. However, things went “downhill” the moment we entered our first room.
The armchair in the room was “visibly” dirty which made us question the cleanliness of the rest of the room: carpeting, etc. So we asked for another room. The second room smelled better, but the walls were noticeably “scuffed” and was in need of “maintenance” like touch up painting and the bathroom door was chipped badly and in need of touch up paint. This left us feeling disappointed. They need to maintain their property better.
