Hilton Maldives Amingiri Resort & Spa

Resort is stunning. Overwater suite with pool is very large, wide and it’s perfect. Service is beyond perfect from all staff especially Anna our butler, Thank you Anna so much. I recommend this resort and definitely when I return to Maldives, I will stay at Hilton Aminigiri resort.

Hilton Amingiri in Maldives is an absolutely breathtaking vacation spot, and a must-go no matter what! The staff is very kind and super helpful. As soon as you arrive, you’re greeted with a warm welcome of iced tea, and a thorough tour of the facilities on the island before being transported to your villa, whether over-water or on the beach. You are also given a specific individual, a Guest Experience Maker, to ensure your vacation goes off without a hitch. Our GEM, Reea, was a great help at every turn, and we are very glad to have had her assistance. Their staff is quite hospitable, there is no doubt about that, but that does not mean they are lacking in other departments. From their cuisine and specialty restaurants, where the chef may even sometimes greet you personally, to the cleanliness of the resort as a whole, there was not a single thing that fell behind in expectations. My only recommendation would be to avoid coming during monsoon season, as it can hinder your day-to-day activities, but other than that, the resort itself was wonderful and exceeded all my expectations!! Oh among all other employees some of the names I remember Rajendra from the security staff and Mahesh the life guard went above and beyond to make our stay safe. Anees the director of operations made sure to stop by and check in on us from time to time !

My husband and I recently spent a week at the resort, celebrating our honeymoon and my birthday and it was nothing short of amazing. Reea, our GEM was super communicative and very attentive in scheduling our activities and dinners. The staff were joyful and celebrated us everywhere we went from decorating our room and the spa. For those looking for practical information, the entire resort was super clean - spotless even and treated well . No bugs = amazing! We stayed in the on the beach villa which to us was an amazing value with a private, large pool and walk-on beach. Our favorite part of the day might have been breakfast... the buffet was fantastic and such a good value. As a Hilton gold member it was included in our stay so we got access to all the greats of breakfast including a spread of Asian, Maldivian and Middle Eastern foods. We too loved all the various native fruits we got to try and the cocktail making class. The resort is truly sustainable and we saw first hand how they discard nothing and reuse food scraps for amazing cocktails! A quick kudos to the Suboceanic sports team as well for our awesome excursions. We booked the honeymoon package as well as turtle snorkeling - we saw 5! Our only critique, and one we shared with the lovely guest manager we spoke to before we left, was we would have loved to see more mid-day food variety and accessibility. Not all restaurants are open throughout the day nor every day. We’re more active, so would have loved a grab and go option vs sit down lunch, or even also a different menu with specials that perhaps wasn’t an added on experience that required seperate booking. After a long stay, it is easy to get tired of similar menus so just a thought for the future. We can’t wait to see how this resort in the future but it was definitely something special! Can’t wait to return one day for another celebration.
