It said 4 star hotel but I think it was not. The room was too small and breakfast was not that good either, although the location was fine. And, I booked to pay for 3 rooms at the hotel, but it had already been paid for all and that's why I had lots of talk to cancel and paid again by my colleagues in business trip with me.

The hotel is good overall. However we travelled all night and arrived at 7am and asked for either an early checkin or if there was a room we could rest in while our was being made ready. The answer was that the checkin was at 3 and there was no other option. The toilet toor wasn’t working due to some construction works. We were however able to book a late checkout.

The Albus is in a great location. Close to the action. Hotel did have a few cosmetic issues with wall marks but with luggage being moved around that happens. Yes the bathroom is very oddly designed.Otherwise the room was nice sized and the bed was comfortable. What was even better is that even being on a busy road you couldn’t hear the noise. Most importantly the staff was very friendly. Raymond and Julia were very helpful. Always going out of the way to speak to us . Would recommend to anyone

From the moment we walked in, we felt very welcomed and pampered at the Albus Hotel. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Also, the location is terrific with lots of restaurants and more nearby. Highly recommend the hotel!

Great hotel in a terrific location, midway between Central Station and the Museumplein: walkable distance to either but right on a tram line as well. Staff were friendly and always willing to help. We stayed in one of the “studios” (apartments), which were clean and spacious, and had extra amenities that the more traditional hotel rooms didn’t have (kitchen, washer/dryer, bathtub as well as shower). However, be warned that to get to these particular units requires navigation of some harrowing “traditionally Dutch” stairways that are narrow and steep—there’s no elevator access to them. Nevertheless, I’d definitely book the same room again in a heartbeat.

We got in early for our flight and wanted to have a room available when we got in. We got to the hotel and upon check in they told us that we were a no show so they canceled our booking and we could not get a refund. Would not stay here
