The hotel is very close to the Rijksmuseum of the Netherlands and the Van Gogh Museum, which can be reached within ten minutes on foot. Within ten minutes of walking from these two museums, there is a food street with various restaurants. The street where the hotel is located is quiet in the middle of the hustle and bustle, so it is very quiet to sleep at night. The room facilities are in good condition, but there is no place to hang clothes. The service staff is surprisingly friendly and attentive. The breakfast is good value for money and there are hot food available. I ordered the vegetable and ham assorted egg rolls, which were delicious.

One of the sink was leaking water and the other sink took a very long time for hot water

The staff are fantastic--friendly and helpful. We had a basement room with a drafty window; it was across from a public toilet, and it was a little shabby and dated in the room, but it was quiet and comfortable. The area around the hotel is great.

Great location! Super easy walk to the tram/bus station to go to and from places (including the airport). Staff was fabulous! Highly recommend this hotel when visiting Amsterdam!

The staff were great. Just outside of ths hustle and bustle, but close enough to everything. Plesent stay.

Received a very friendly welcome, check-in was quick and via a tablet. Room, the luxury room, very spacious, bathroom with bath (jacuzzi), shower with rain shower head, safe and plenty of cupboard space. Double sink is located in the room. The breakfast was very good, buffet style and you could order three dishes from the menu. Highly recommended for 1 or a number of nights, close to museums and a boat tour and easily accessible from the center, on foot or by public transport.

We are very grateful for the great hospitality at the hotel after a few unpleasant experiences with Airbnb hosts. Hotel JL76 location is very good and if you are looking for a place for New Year countdown, this is the place. Very happening and fireworks at all corners. Thank you Andre for all the assistance given to us during our stay. It really meant a lot to us. For sure, if we were to visit Amsterdam again, we will stay at Hotel JL 76.

The hotel is clean, very spacious and has great service. The location is very strategic and close to lots of museums and restaurants. There is also direct bus to airport nearby hotel.

Bad service and even worse manager. This is the worst hotel I’ve tried so far. Dirty rooms, room is not sound proof. Water was not clean. My room was in the basement and had poor air quality.

Very good location near the Van Gough Museum, easily accessible to airport via bus. Friendly staff, quiet location and most comfortable beds!
