Great spot to hunker down while in Amsterdam. Close to museums but and to the metro.

Doesn't worth the price that was paid. Musky smell room. Nespresso water tank is filthy. On a Saturday late night with loud music nearby, I was unable to sleep at all. The location is the only advantage I could think of that would justify the accommodation pricing.

It was such a fun experience!

The hotel is very clean, the room is small but confortable and the staff is really friendly. The view on the canal is really nice.

The hotel is in a great location, walking distance of most sites in Amsterdam at the same time as being quite and peaceful. The view of the canal from our room was beautiful. At first glance, the room seemed clean, although the appearance of the lobby and hallways suggested the opposite. Unfortunately there is a serious mold problem in this hotel. The wall closest to the window was wet and growing large patches of fuzzy mold. Behind the bathroom mirror was black with mold. The bathroom ceiling was dripping. When we raised these issues, we were told they would clean the moldy wall next to our bed. We asked for this not to be done during our stay because we didn't want the spores to be spread all over the room. When we returned to the hotel that evening, the mold had been "cleaned", with no sign of bleach or cleaning products. My guess is they just brushed it off to remove visible traces, spreading mold spores all over the room. They assured us they covered the bed while they did this, but that's not much imo. I am writing this detailed review because I'm not confident that the hotel will undertake the significant work needed to treat the mold and prevent it from coming back, and it could affect guests health.

Really helpful and welcoming staff. Great location with everything in walking distance

This hotel is NOT as advertised. The exterior of the building is covered in graffiti and cigarette butts. The “lobby” is a small dirty desk in a narrow dark hallway. The desk clerk is a resident of the building and is poorly dressed and is not able to assist with any questions. The rooms are dirty and do not meet up with the amenities described in the reservation. We called Hotels dot com about a refund because we wanted to move to a better hotel, but we received no assistance from either the hotel or the Hotels dot com customer service department. Horrible place- keep looking!

Hotel staff went out of their way to help, especially with a late check-in. I would stay here again.
