The staff were kind and helpful. The rooms were clean and our 'Comfy' room, adequate. Our room flooded and we were given an upgrade. Frankly, our first room was better appointed and not such an odd shape. Breakfast was a let down. The choice was limited and not great quality as the cold meats, smoked salmon and viennoiserie were poor. They had a 'live' cooking section for eggs. Everything was overcooked and the space reeked of browning butter. However, the staff were lovely and the 24/7 bar was a welcome touch.

This is the nicest hotel stay I’ve had. Staff were friendly and helpful. Full breakfast including eggs made to order and fresh squeezed orange juice. Wine and cheese in the evenings. Full bar at no extra charge. They had champagne and olibollen on New Year’s Eve. Steam shower. Beautiful furnishings. In walking distance from everything. We loved our stay!

Lovely place to stay in Amsterdam! I would definitely recommend. Good location, excellent concept & staff. Only downside was I wasn’t recognised as a VIP ******* guest. While observing others checking in (Americans) I felt they were better respected/treated than ourselves. But I did love my overall stay

I really enjoyed the stay at this hotel. They include drinks throughout the whole stay, and have a cheese tray every day at 5PM. This allowed me to come back from my day out, and rest a little bit before going out again to continue my night. Location is particularly good to walk all around the centre of Amsterdam.
Breakfast was also very good. They provide omelettes made fresh by the employees. I would come back and stay and this place.

What I enjoyed the most was the bed, along with the staff. They were phenomenal team, from the moment we arrived until we left. Breakfast was wonderful and the complimentary drinks and liquor. Minutes away from the central station n shopping and dining areas. Overall, experience being first time in Amsterdam was pleasant. We will return to Banks Mansion Hotel, when we decide to come back to Amsterdam.

Although gold member, no upgrade, although someone offered one after I had checked in, no gift , as advertised. Safe did not work, shower faulty and when repairing the following day, leak flooding room resulting in being moved

The open bar, snacks, wine, breakfast, and common spaces were so worth the price. The room was as described except it didn't have most of the amenities described. But the common amenities made up for that.
All staff were courteous, but some were somewhat dismissive and not overly helpful.
I would definitely stay again.
