Hotel la Belle Vue

Hotel is expensive for what you pay, in need of renovation and not like the photos advertised. Stairs are very steep and no elevator. Room is small/tight, is just a bed and does not have seating. Hairdryer does not work. Receptionist rude as I wanted a screenshot of his screen to prove we paid the city tax on arrival. No fridge. Coffee maker available however no cups. Location is central.

One of the most terrible hotel I had ever stay. Had paid total ~ S$ 300/-(including city tax) for a short night but the conditions of the room was horrible. Pictures tell all the facts. Narrow staircase with no lift to 3rd level, check-in was done in another nearby hotel of the same condition but all your luggage could stored there in a common areas at your own risk, so we got to buy a bicycle chain at a gift shop downstairs at the cost of euro 23/-. The worse was inside the room, small, dirty with stains on wall, dim with energy saving lamp in the tiny toilet and the lighting went off every 4 seconds. Towers showing yellowish in color. Not an inch of areas you would feel acceptable. Oh my god!

So far a nice experience, I hope to hapen again, in the. Near future

The photos look nothing like the place. The rooms are old, and have a weird smell but it was decent. There is no lift so you'd have to carry your luggage through a very narrow and small staircase, each step is around 9 inches (roughly a woman's size 6 shoe), so going up and down the very long stair case is difficult. On our first night, there was a bed bug (or some kind of bug) crawling on the wall so we had to sleep on our towels on top of the blanket. I guess it was okay for its price, but there are so much better rooms/hotels within the area.

Excellent service. Easy check-in/check-out. Booked the triple room with balcony so had to climb 3 floors each with very narrow and steep stairs to get to the top! Good size room. Bathroom was small. Vending machine drinks the coins so just stay dry. Overall good resting place!

The room I was given. Was the attic room. It was at the very least, a challenge to get to the room itself. The room was very basic, not very clean with no basic equipment. Like a bin………… There was a funny placed kettle in the room with no cups or spoons etc… To say the least, very disappointed…. Trip.com Should do better to check what room is adverts used on their site is what their customers will get when the arrive…. Very poor and majorly disappointing….. 2/10 decent location
