The room was okay, but the soundproofing wasn't great. I was given a room right next to the train tracks, and I could hear every train pass by. You could also hear people walking and talking in the hallway, so I wouldn't really recommend it for that reason. The area felt safer than I expected, and there seemed to be a school on the way to the supermarket nearby. However, the supermarket wasn't very close and didn't have much selection. It's very close to the station, which is convenient if you're traveling to The Hague, Rotterdam, or the windmills.

Next to rail and metro station and ample tram and bus stops. It's a quick ride into Amsterdam central station and attractions close to Amsterdam. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. We to there early and they were able to store our luggage ahead of our checkin time. The rooms are spacious but feel a little bare and there was one night were the hot water turned off mid shower and I was left taking a cold shower. Outside of that one night the water temp was pretty good and the staff had no idea why the hot water ran out beside the fact that maybe too many guest were using at the same time. Overall, I thought the stay was very pleasant and we enjoyed our time in Amsterdam.

This was, without exaggeration, the worst and dirtiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in ,and trust me, my standards are not even that high! They didn’t bother cleaning the room, the bed sheets were never changed, and the towels looked like they had already lived several lives before meeting me. At this point I’m convinced the only thing they clean in this hotel is their bank account balance. When you arrive, they charge you €48 for a “city fee” plus a €100 deposit, and then act like escaping Alcatraz is easier than getting your money back. The staff? Absolutely unprofessional, clueless, and some of them treated us with the kind of attitude that felt very much like discrimination ,unless customer service now includes rolling eyes, ignoring guests, and acting like we’re inconveniencing them by existing. Honestly, if you’re looking for a place to relax, be respected, or simply not catch a mystery disease from the towels, run. Just run. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to my worst enemy ,although actually… maybe I would.

Lovely receptionists who were very helpful and provided great suggestions. I requested a twin-bed room, but it was fully booked. The handsome receptionist offered an alternative solution by providing us with an extra blanket. Would definitely stay here again when I visit Amsterdam — looking forward to my next stay!

Location is strategic as it is just a few steps away from the Sloterdijk station where one can enjoy all the 4 types of transport systems - tram, metro, train and bus. It’s a good choice considering the amount that you pay for a stay can end up a bigger space as compared to staying in the Amsterdam city. Plus, it’s just a stop away from Zaandam and maybe 2-3 stops away from Zaanse Schans. It’s quieter to stay here but for those who prefer a more happening vibe of the city, this place won’t be the first choice. The place is clean and service provided was good. We had some problems with the sink and it got sorted out immediately next day coz by the time we checked in it was already late.

The hotel is pretty good! You can cook and wash your clothes there (you have to pay to use the washing machine). Station is just next to the hotel.

Great base for Amsterdam visit outside of city centre. Well connected to airport and central by multiple transport links. Staff friendly and helpful. Even decorated our room and left a gift for my partner's birthday. There's also grocery and restaurant options nearby, as well as a 24 hour mini mart in the lobby.

Reciew from Asian couple … Super near to tram station. Exit train station and take lift 9/10 and once out. Hotel at your 2’oclock . Check in: easy and fast. Room is clean and spacious(double room). However I felt room was stuffy and front desk got me a fan to use . Then it help in my 3 night stay. Washing machine and dryer was good.. total 6 euro. Slipper was available FOC. But toothbrushing and paste need to buy. Near team station has SPARS(convenience shop and good).. overall, stay was awsome here. Front desk was helpful and good English spoken. Housekeeping was definitely CLEAN! Front desk has water cooler to top up water .. Amenities in room (microwave, utensil , dishwasher) all was good. My room was 022. (01-04 Sep25) Location to central by train is only around 10 min I guess… easy… Overall. It’s a good choice for tourist who wan to have clean room, good location, laundromat, good services and good staff from hotel.

Check in was fast and easy. Just need to pay city tax and deposit for the place in either cash or credit (they accept both), cash is returned upon check out. Staff were friendly, amenities in room were good. They have most utensils and they even provide washing up products. Locations is good as it's nearby the bus station, train station. There isn't much to do around this area but there's a shopping area where locals goes so that's great as u will find prices for things cheaper than in Amsterdam city centre.

Great location- close to both the airport and Centraal by train (10 minutes). Lovely staff, good gym, clean room. Very close to train station. Would certainly stay again!

I stayed at Hotel2stay from June 19 to June 23 with my husband, and overall, our experience was quite positive for the first part of our trip. The hotel’s location is very convenient, and the rooms are new, clean, and well-maintained, which made our 4-night stay smooth and enjoyable. However, things took a turn during our final stay. Due to our travel itinerary, we checked out on June 23 to spend a night in Zaandam (June 23-24) and then returned to Hotel2stay to check in again from June 24 to June 25. The issue arose on June 25 during check-out. At the reception, the staff informed us that we hadn’t paid for our stay and demanded immediate payment. I repeatedly explained that we had already completed the full payment through Agoda and suggested there might be an issue with the hotel’s system, urging them to double-check. The situation escalated when a dark-skinned staff member became extremely rude. She crossed his arms, spoke to us with a hostile attitude, and insisted we pay instantly, even though we were trying to resolve the matter calmly. This created a very unpleasant scene that dragged on for nearly half an hour. Eventually, after further investigation, this staff member confirmed that we had indeed paid, but his behavior throughout the ordeal was utterly unprofessional and unacceptable. While the hotel itself is generally good, I strongly recommend that management address this incident and take action regarding this particular employee, who significantly tarnished our experience. It’s disappointing to end a otherwise pleasant stay with such poor customer service. This review balances the positive aspects of your stay with the negative experience, while clearly highlighting the issue with the staff member.
