I loved the room we were provided. The room and the bathroom was large and very clean! The shower was amazing. However, it was very difficult to enter the hotel from the street, climbing narrow steps while pulling luggage. I was surprised there was no lobby, we rang a doorbell for staff assistance. For assistance after this, staff could be reached by a desk phone which called them from a downstairs office, but it was unmanned from 11pm-7am. We felt isolated. In the morning, we had an early departure and couldn't stay for the breakfast but it looked very nice. The woman preparing breakfast and also responding to the help phone was very nice and was able to find another staff member to assist us getting our luggage to the street in time to catch our Uber. The area of the hotel, close to the Museumplein, was very convenient!

Absolutely charming, helpful, knowledgeable, patient young staff and management. Clean, large, pretty and comfortable room with great mattress. Wonderful breakfast with made to order crepes and fresh made decaf when requested. Highly recommend.

I had a great stay at Hotel Fita. It is nicely located with public transportation close by. Van Gogh Museum, Rijksmuseum, Stedelijk Museum, and the Christmas Market are just steps away. There is an English style buffet breakfast with a good assortment of food. My corner room was spacious and beautiful. There is a school close by and I hear children playing happily during recess, which usually occurs around 9am when I am already awake. The staff is warm, friendly, and helpful. Most importantly, as a solo traveler, the area feels safe with upscale shops and nice restaurants close by. I plan to stay there again the next time that I'm in Amsterdam.

My single room was small but comfortable. When the safe was not working, the friendly staff offered to move me and did, to a larger room. Breakfast was good. Every staff member I encountered was friendly and helpful.
The hotel is superbly placed for all the main museums and the Concertgebouw, and the city centre is a simple walk away. It is also on the direct bus line from Schiphol airport and the tramline from the Central Station.

The staff and personnel were the tops. Thanks to each of them.
Nothing about the hotel or the room was handicapped accessible. Bathrooms must be renovated for handicapped use.

Excellent hotel, the room was much bigger then expected. Clean room, water was provided daily, super friendly staff. A postcard with a cookie was placed on our bed which was a nice surprise. Location was very convenient, close to transportation, in a quiet neighborhood.

I was charged an extra city tax to check in- this was annoying because apparently my husband had everything prebooked and there should have been no hidden fees

The staff were wonderful. Get the breakfast! Could not have picked a better place. Might not be good if stairs are a problem for you. They even helped us navigate and find some nice dining options.
