Crown Hotel

This hotel is the most affordable and comfortable place to enjoy your vacation, and the staff were so nice and friendly and basically became our photographers for the duration of our stay there and they made sure we’re so well taken care of and comfortable the room is well maintained and food service is excellent I recommend 10/10.

Great location, free WiFi, and coffee machine (in main lobby), comfortable bed, but extremely small for a single, and one wrong move and you’re on the floor, some staff more friendly, and approachable than others, but the whole building could do with updating. My room had massive holes in the wall, only one plug socket which was on the opposite side of the room, near the door, shared toilet had no sink to wash hands, but thankfully, my room was right next door, and the toilet was barely big enough to move around in. Given the location, it’s fairly quiet, but the slamming of doors from other guests, and residents all night long was a massive issue. I would stay again if the rooms had a facelift.

There’s a reason you can’t find a photo of the showers and toilet on *********** and that’s because the showers are moldy and growing fur and the toilets are needing redone desperately! Whole place could use a lick of paint and a good scrub of bleach. Beds looked clean enough but unless you’re stopping for a quick nap AVOID!

A very poor standard hostel in a rough area of Amsterdam. The shared showers are 1960s and rooms very small. This is a basic hotel for back packers who have no interest in hygiene or looking for luxury or quality accommodation. The area near is risky.
