The stay was great! I'm really glad I discovered the hostel when passing through Anaconda. Very clean, comfy, cozy, well stocked, and had an overall good feel. Great place to find out more about hiking and other outdoor things to do in the area as they have a map room. Staff were great as well. I enjoyed talking with Steve, Marsha, and Kaelyn. Hope to visit again during the winter :) -Marty

This place was amazing. State of the art, clean and modern. The staff was very nice and helpful and I would go there again! I love the kitchen and everything just was so nice. I got to hang up my wet tent outside and there was a nice little area to just hang out behind the building.

Very Good
Unique place to stay. Had a small private room with double bunk beds. Very nice and clean showers and bathrooms down the hall. Would stay there again.

Everyone in my party was very impressed with the hosts of Pintles Portal Hostel ( Steve and Marsha) knowledge of the area! The accomodations were really outstanding! The time and space I shared with others was over and above what I had expected! Anaconda Montana has a great little secret in their town! I highly recommend this gem !

Great price, nice staff. It’s difficult to sleep there and there is 0 privacy. It would be a great place for a group of hikers or something like that.

I got the chance to stay at Pintler’s Portal Hostel for a couple weeks. Coming from someone who has done a lot of backpacking around hostels internationally, it was honestly one of the best hostel experiences I’ve ever had. Steve and Marsha are incredibly helpful and friendly. The staff went out of their way to help me at every opportunity possible. The space has a beautiful aesthetic and is in a perfect location in the adorable little Montana town. I honestly can’t recommend this place enough. They bring a lot to their community and offer a lot to their guests. I plan to go back some day and bring my family.
