The Westin Bora Bora Resort & Spa

This place is absolutely PERFECT! The beauty of not only the natural scenery but every inch of the resort including the heavenly rooms. Every service person from the person who greets you at the airport, to the boat captain, to reception (mine was Marion and she's a gem) to the in-room dining employees. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating. The resort thinks of so many little details that make things special like welcome champagne, lavender oil to help you sleep, beach bag, etc. I've never had such a perfect experience before. The Westin was an amazing hotel to stay at. We had an overwater bungalow which offered privacy and an amazing view. Having our own private pool was a definite added bonus. There were daily activities for us to partake in such as paddle-boarding, kayaking, snorkeling, crafts, and of course the pool. The staff at the Westin made a point to know our names and went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything we needed. This was truly an amazing experience!

Westin exceeded our expectations. Check in and transfer from the airport was flawless. They are well organized and efficient which is appreciated after a long travel day. We got early check in and late check out to accommodate for our flights. The staff is hands down the best staff of anywhere I’ve been- shout out to arthur, Sarah at the vara, ani gigi and all the waitresses at vara I can’t remember all their names they are all wonderful. Everytime they pass by you they greet you with a smile. So polite and friendly and accommodating. The food was pretty good in my opinion- slim options for a picky eater like myself so can’t imagine staying for longer than we did (5 days). There are only two restaurants with the same menu and one with a rotating menu but we didn’t get in our entire stay because it was booked. Our over water bungalow with pool was phenomenal. We never left. Room service was efficient and good. I have nothing bad to say. The only thing I will say is you need reservations for most things you do when the hotel is full. So dinner, activities, etc. it was a little frustrating it was all booked for our stay so we didn’t get to do everything we wanted but overall a wonderful stay at the Westin and we will definitely be back!! Best view in Bora Bora Wonderful stay in the most comfortable resort of Bora Bora, with the best view on mount Otemanu. Superior service and care to the guests in every little detail.

We enjoyed our vacation. The property is in good confition. No complaints. Recommend in all aspects.

The Westin is a beautiful property. The staff and service is absolutely wonderful. My issue is, it is absolutely devoid of ANY Polynesian culture or charm. It is a very big, western, American hotel that happens to face the main island of Bora Bora. They have hotel arranged activities but if you want to go to the main island, and they really discourage that, it is a $35 shuttle plus a taxi to do so. If you want to visit one of the hotels on either side of the property, you need to hire a boat, my goodness you can see the lit bungalows and guests from the dock. But you need a boat. It has a very "Disneyesque" artificial feel to it. After 3 days, I felt like I was in a luxury prison. Never again, I'll stay at the Intercontinental on the main island.
