A clean, friendly place that I would highly recommend. Host Ricardo is funny and kind and gives great recommendations for tours/restaurants etc. The island is a national park and abounds with lush vegetation and natural beauty. The pousada was convenient and very safe. Sharing your early morning with marmosets was the highlight for me (also hearing the howler monkeys in the jungle as a wake up call). So very beautiful. I hope I have the opportunity to go back

Lovely location walking distance from the port and downtown. Extremely quiet and the bedrooms were very clean. Wifi was great. Ricardo is the most amazing host - extremely efficient and super helpful organizing much more for us than the local tours. I highly recommend this Pousada and cannot thank Ricardo enough for a fabulous stay!

Pousada Costa Verde is a great place to stay in Ilha Grande. Clean, comfy, well located. Ricardo the owner os an outstanding host, helping with knowing what is available to do at the island and choosing the best options. He also accommodates for guests needs a d is always attentive.

We loved our three nights here. Ricardo, the host was amazing with organizing our daily activities and adventures. Our room was cool and quiet. The island is safe and beautiful. We cannot wait to return and cannot thank Ricardo enough for all of his help.

Pousada Costa Verde was a nice stay on Ilha Grande. It was very clean and well maintained (though this is because of very strict rules, so if you're intent is to party, this is not the spot for you). The manager is super nice and provides a lot of great advice based on your expectations of your trip. The pousada is off the beaten path and does not come with breakfast like other pousadas on the mainland do.
