Pousada Paraíso Ilha Grande

For the amount charged, the level of service and especially customer service, which practically did not exist, should have been much better. When we arrived at the inn, no one explained anything about anything, didn't give us an internet password, didn't talk about the shower. They just give us a form to fill out and the room key. I don't even know if anything is sold there to leave in the fridge in the room, as it was not explained or offered. The shower is the highlight of the stay, strong and warm water. Wi-Fi only worked in one corner of the bathroom, so if you need to work at some point during your stay, don't count on the inn's Wi-Fi. A double bed is actually two single beds pushed together, and you sleep with a stick in the middle of the beds. Ilha Grande had a power outage, so the inn only turns on the generator after 6pm, that is, during the day, no power, even though there is a generator in the inn (!). Very basic breakfast, with few bread or cake options.

The inn has a great structure and is very cozy. Clean rooms and tasty breakfast.

Dona Francisca was very helpful with us. The Inn is simple and rustic like Ilha Grande. The worst part was the mattress full of “knots” that left our backs sore. The air conditioning doesn't cool and makes a noise that sounds like a helicopter. Breakfast met our expectations, nothing special.

Pousada Paraíso Ilha Grande has an excellent location, close to the main restaurants, markets and other necessary types of commerce, without however suffering from noise from any bars that play music until late. It has a simple breakfast, but it serves the purpose. The accommodations are also OK, with emphasis on the air conditioning which, even with tremendous heat, kept the room at a pleasant temperature. Very attentive staff service.

Practical hotel, very well located. Quick and very friendly check in. Clean room and small balcony. Very good breakfast. The only problem, the bar across the street open until 5:30 a.m., very noisy. Ask for a room that. Does not face the street

Reasonable. Unfortunately, the energy on site seems insufficient to serve everyone. The air conditioning unit constantly turns off, the fan is very noisy, water leaks in the bathroom sink, the service is poor. The inn lacks information about the location such as: transport, tours, restaurants, etc... It seems they need broader guidance on tourism.
