Our room was spacious with a beautiful view of the city center, and the bed was very comfortable. There were some issues with the air conditioning not working properly, which was a bit inconvenient. I used the gym daily, but it could have been better maintained—it often felt untidy and didn’t seem to be cleaned regularly. The breakfast improved each day but was clearly geared more toward local tastes than international ones. Despite a few minor issues, the overall service at the hotel was very good, and I would definitely recommend it to others visiting the city.

However, after a two-night stay, we found that the hotel's service had numerous detailed issues that were inconsistent with a 5-star standard. 1. **Facilities:** There's an uncovered long corridor between the hotel lobby and the accommodation building. On winter evenings, it was windy and extremely cold. It was a bizarre sight to see adults and children rushing, dragging their luggage, through this corridor on the ground floor – certainly not what you'd expect in a 5-star hotel. I believe they could design an alternative, possibly covered, route from a side corridor to the accommodation building as a backup. 2. **Service:** The overall staff training felt like a 2-3 star hotel level, which was evident at the front desk and in the restaurant. * **Breakfast:** We arrived 30 minutes before closing, and many food items were already gone. Furthermore, internal restaurant staff started opening a side door to dispose of cafeteria leftovers, filling the entire restaurant with the unpleasant smell of swill. It was also very cold, so everyone ate a little and left quickly. Breakfast was advertised as ”free” with the room, supposedly valued at 124 RMB (for a 5-star hotel). However, the restaurant manager came over and charged 40 RMB for our child (who is 1.30m tall), claiming children were not included. 3. **Soaking Pool and Swimming Pool:** The ”soaking pool” advertised by the hotel was merely a communal pool of a few square meters where adults could only sit to soak. The swimming pool was too cold to use in winter. 4. **Positives:** The hotel incorporates ”post-house culture,” and also features a children's play area and a table tennis table.
