Lupo Libero Hotel Spa

This place was absolutely terrible. The room was advertised as 30sqm on Trip.com, but it was barely 10sqm when I arrived. The room was filthy, and even though I stayed for 5 nights and put out the 'clean my room' sign, they only cleaned it once. Do NOT book this place. There was only one light bulb in the room, and it was a nightlight – you can see the before-and-after photos below, there's practically no difference whether it's on or off. Seriously, do not book this hotel; it's a blatant case of false advertising.

I liked that it was quite quiet in the room at night. The street isn't noisy, so you can get a good night's sleep. In the morning, there was a good breakfast. The room itself was very basic. What I didn't like was that the hotel management didn't respond to emails. I sent an email asking about the nearest parking for a car, but never received a reply.

This hotel is in a very convenient location! You can easily get there by tram from the airport, and it's close to the tram stop. It's also just a 10-15 minute walk to the city center and Hadrian's Gate. The buffet breakfast was good too! The only thing is that at first, they gave me a room without a window, but they changed it the next day.

The hotel is very well located, close to public transport, restaurants, entertainment, Kaleiçi, and the old town. The breakfast buffet includes cold cuts, fruit, cookies, cereals, pastries, juices, coffee, tea, milk, a variety of desserts each day, breads, all kinds of salads, eggs... everything you could imagine. The room was spacious with a private bathroom equipped with a hairdryer and toiletries refilled with water. There was complimentary welcome water, coffee, tea, and sugar, which were replenished every time they came to clean, which was actually twice, but there was no actual cleaning. The carpet was full of hair. The worst part was that they folded our dirty towels and placed them as if they were clean. Oh my goodness! The staff, however, were very attentive.

The hotel is located in the old town, close to a shopping center and pedestrian streets. The only beach nearby was a paid one, and we had to shell out 800 lira per person. I didn't like the hotel itself – there were noisy groups, shouting, and the soundproofing was poor. Plus, there are no balconies, and the plates were chipped. The gym wasn't too bad though.
