Kaleici Marina Boutique Hotel - Restaurant

The worst hotel we have ever stayed in in the old town of Antalya. We got a room on the first floor with bars on the windows and a broken handle that wouldn't close. All night under our windows (right under our windows, 20 cm away) people were walking, smoking, yelling, cars were driving until 4 in the morning. Then garbage trucks and apparently food delivery people started driving around. For 6 days we did not sleep more than two hours. The reception claimed that there were no rooms to change. And today I was informed that we arrived for only 4 days (but we have 6 nights). It sounded like “sleep it off at home.” Breakfast is a different story. It is not enough even for a child. You can't choose anything. They bring you scrambled eggs for two people from two eggs floating in oil, two nipples, 4 pieces of cheese, 6 olives, 2 cucumber quarters and two tomato halves plus two apricots and that’s it. They always bring yesterday's bread, apparently leftover from dinner. Once there was a piece of bread in the basket that someone had already eaten or broken off. We go to a neighboring hotel for breakfast for an additional fee. We packed our suitcase during the day; we arrived early from the sea, since one of the light bulbs in the room did not work, and the other was barely shining. You don’t want to open the curtain because all the people passing by are looking through your window. It's at their eye level. Despite the fact that we were accustomed to noise and festivities in other hotels in the old city and this never annoyed or disturbed us, here everything is very extreme. By the way, the hotel has a different name. Maybe they changed it because of bad reviews. It’s one o’clock in the morning, a motorcycle is revving under the windows, and the taxi driver has been smoking for an hour and talking to the whole street on his walkie-talkie.
