LLanJiangExceptional Stay in Changbaishan – Highly Recommended!
I recently stayed at a hotel in Changbaishan, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. From start to finish, everything was managed exceptionally well, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience.
The hotel is beautifully maintained, with rooms that are both comfortable and impeccably clean. One of the standout features was the outdoor onsen—an absolutely amazing place to unwind amidst the serene natural surroundings. The decoration in front of hotel with rows and rows of cute snowmen are also very lovely, we took plenty of photos there. Additionally, the free transportation services were incredibly efficient, including a convenient shuttle service to and from the train station and free transfers to the ski site.
The staff were all friendly and helpful, even though communication was sometimes challenging as we don’t speak Mandarin. A special shoutout to Ms. Zhang Yong Ping 张永评 (WeChat: Xin Xin 鑫鑫), the guest manager from the front desk department, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was flawless.
Ms. Zhang provided us with outstanding butler service and demonstrated exceptional kindness, professionalism, and hospitality. She helped us navigate the complexities of buying tickets and traveling to Changbaishan, ensured we boarded the correct buses, and even made sure we didn’t miss any important connections.
Due to high season, we couldn’t secure a room in Building 3 for our second night and had to reserve rooms in Building 2 via an online platform. Ms. Zhang kindly and proactively made arrangements so we could stay in Building 3 throughout our visit—a thoughtful gesture that made a huge difference.
Every aspect of our stay was well taken care of, and the staff’s dedication to providing excellent service truly stood out. Thanks to Ms. Zhang and the entire hotel team, our time in Changbaishan was a wonderful experience.
I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. We’re grateful for the warm hospitality and look forward to returning in the future!

Most importantly, the butler service (管家莹莹 小張）was outstanding. From the moment of arrival, throughout the stay, and even during outings, the staff provided comprehensive 24-hour assistance. They followed up on every detail and ensured everything ran smoothly, creating a truly welcoming and home-like experience. The level of care and attention made me feel like a valued guest at every turn, leaving a lasting impression on the overall quality of my stay.

Our experience at this hotel was absolutely wonderful! As two foreign girls traveling on our own, I was initially a bit nervous that things might be difficult or uncomfortable but everything exceeded our expectations.
We visited at the end of March for a weekend getaway, mainly to see the lake and explore the surrounding area. From the moment we arrived by train, the hotel staff went above and beyond meeting us at the station after we coordinated smoothly with them via WeChat. Their kindness and helpfulness made us feel completely at ease from the start.
They were always attentive to our needs and even assisted us in booking tickets for the nearby natural park, which was incredibly helpful as I wasn’t familiar with the system. We stayed in the Cozy Queen Room, which was very spacious, clean, and well laid out. It had all the amenities we needed, and the heating worked perfectly, important since it was still a bit chilly during our stay.
The hotel’s location couldn’t be better. It’s just a short walk from the main street, where you’ll find plenty of restaurants and shops. It’s also quite close to the entrance of the natural park and the reindeer park. On our first day, we walked to the reindeer park in about 30 minutes, and the walk itself was beautiful, passing by a lake with wildlife.
On our second day, we headed out early to visit the natural park, and the hotel staff kindly arranged a taxi for us since it was so early in the morning.
I truly cannot recommend this hotel enough,it was a flawless experience from beginning to end. We’re incredibly grateful to the staff for treating us with such warmth and care. I would absolutely return in the future!

HheymingsterThe hotel offers free pick up service from the train station, which allowed us to connect with a driver called Ting Ting. The distance from Changbaishan railway station to the hotel is about a 10 min drive away. The hotel is clean, offers hot ginseng tea and the room is extremely spacious. The amenities kit is good too, with body lotion provided. Guests services staff are extremely helpful and kind. However, we spoke mandarin with them so I think the experience will be better if you spoke in Chinese. Breakfast at hotel is also a great spread - mainly noodles, rice, and Chinese dishes that tastes great. Coffee machine provided relatively great espresso (for an automatic machine).
However, the highlight would be Ting Ting; whom we connected via Mercure. We were tourists without a local Chinese mobile number, so she knew and told us it’s extremely difficult for us to get anywhere in Changbaishan (there is only a local T3 ride hailing app, and Didi is not applicable there). She offered to drive us around for our stay (3D2N) instead, and taught us how to book our tickets for Changbaishan National Park. She also recommended and drove us to dining places that she has tried, and they were indeed great shops with tasty food! Ting Ting also reminded us what we needed to prep to go up to Changbaishan and took us to rent the necessary gear (fleece guard protection for knee, fleece shoes etc) as we did not have the right attire for the -10 and up temp in early March. She is extremely helpful and kind. Highly recommend Mercure and Ting Ting!
美居酒店又干净，房间也很大。早餐也丰富，多样。咖啡机的意式浓缩还很不错。酒店的柜台和工作人员都很友善，服务周到。因为酒店有包接站服务，我们链接了司机婷婷。她真的太好了，我们没大陆手机号，不知道根本去不了哪里。婷婷也教我们怎么购买长白山景区票、怎么玩。然后重要的是她也提醒我们上长白山需要注意的-我们不够防冷和防风的衣裳和鞋子，所以她也带我们去租了。婷婷也介绍我们好吃的地方，真的赞赞赞！

GGuest UserThe front desk staff greeted us warmly when we entered the room and poured us 2 cups of hot water, which was very warm. The room we were given the first time had a smell and the ceiling was peeling. We changed to another room and the door could not be opened. The waiter said it was broken. Later, the front desk staff took a new room card and punched it in. I rested for about 5 minutes and went out to play. Before leaving, I found that the pillow was wrinkled as if I had slept in it, so I asked the waiter to put 2 clean pillowcases in the room. When I came back to change the pillowcases at night, I found blood stains on the pillows, which means that the pillows used by the previous guest were not changed at all. After reporting the problem to the front desk, two breakfasts were sent. The overall hygiene quality is too poor, and the attitude of the front desk staff is good.

GGuest UserHope my review can find you well, if you are considering this hotel, just book it! From the day I booked this hotel, I asked the frontdesk people tons of questions regarding my experiences in Changbaishan, because I'm new to this place and have no clue at all. They were very kind and patient with me, even showed me how to buy tickets of Tianchi peak on Wechat. The hotel is super new, with full of facilities and even a tea set with tatami corner and a glass baywindow for your own enjoyment. Great system with welcoming screen and music whenever you entered the room. Toilet bowl was heating and automatically flushing. Breakfast was good and various. We enjoyed it a lot.
Location is good, you can reach the Edelweiss Reindeer Park in just few minutes by foot and reach the tourist center of North Slope Changbaishan National Park center (where to catch a bus to Changbaishan and Tianchi peak) in 15 minutes by foot.
My appreciation to the female driver of the hotel who was picked us up at the train station and sent us off, even drove us to some good places for dinner, and help us alot. People from Yunju hotel were all nice and helpful. Great impression!

SSH.1The first visit to this hotel was full of warmth and overwhelming hospitality. I still can't forget how they welcomed us the moment we arrived at the hotel.
Firstly, we were overwhelmed by the staff
during our arrival. They all came out to greet us and help with our luggages and belongings all the way in to the hotel.
Secondly, with the seamless check in to our rooms and fruit platter, every gesture was well thought by the hosts.
Thirdly, they prepared a sumptuous dinner for us. Simple local delicacies yet tasted really good. The number of ginsengs in the appetiser surprised us! From the portion to the presentation of food, we can taste the difference and feel they put in their heart to make everything better. Lady boss was generous to treat us a bottle of local rice wine during our mealtime. Tasted really good and special! We like that drink!!
Additionally, we were asked for timing to eat breakfast and they would prepare that before our specific timing. They even asked us for our preference and customise breakfast for us. Breakfast was served and tasted as good as dinner! Freshly prepared and done meticulously by the kitchen.
Lastly, lady boss gave us an impromptu complimentary tea session after dinner. A unique and interesting experience indeed. Never seen and tried it before. It's a heating device with net on it, put the heating pot for stirring and cooking our own tea from scratch. Meanwhile, we have the finger snacks and nuts to roast on the heating rack (as shown in the pictures) while waiting for our tea.
In between, they would guide us how to prepare the tea. It was a chill and relaxing session. We enjoyed chit chatting while roasting our tea in the cafe. It felt so warmth especially when it was snowing heavily outside. The vibes were superb!
I had many enquiries and the lady at the counter helped me out a lot without hesitation. She tried all her means to help us. The lady at the hot spring was very friendly and provide good services too!
The staff from the hot spring, restaurant, concierge, driver and even lady boss all were very attentive, friendly and nice at any point of time during our stay. Pretty impressive indeed. Giving all credits to every single staff. Amazing team!
They gave us more than we could ever imagined from services to food to hospitality. Thank you for giving us an amazing and memorable stay! Overall it was a great and enjoyable stay at this hotel. Definitely recommend everyone to visit them and feel their positive energy. Certainly can't wait for our next visit to Chang Bai Shan again!!!

1. The Room : very clean and many room style to choose like Chinese or Japanese or normal.

3. Sevice: excellent. The boss is very caring us. He took us from station to the hotel and back to station for FREE. He help us a lot to buy Mountain ticket, booking car, and bus to Xuexiang.
4. Hotel also Free Breakfast with delicious food. The kitchen service is great. They are kind and outgoing. 😍

XXzzhupeiqiThe service attitude was very good from the moment I checked in. The front desk staff Li Wei and Yu Yanjiao were very considerate. The housekeeper Chen Yuanyuan was very considerate in sending information about the scenic spots to the room. The room is clean and hygienic, and the facilities and equipment are complete. I called the front desk in the morning and the waiter came quickly, which was very considerate. Opposite the hotel is the Beauty Pine Park, which is very beautiful when it snows. Next time I come, I will order Jinshuihe again. The service is first-class.
