Gamodh Citadel Resort

We stayed at the hotel for 3 days (2 nights), and overall it was a very pleasant experience. We arrived quite late, but our room was already prepared. The reception staff member who assisted us (unfortunately I can’t recall her name) went the extra mile, especially considering we were traveling with a baby. She ensured the room was deep cleaned and ready for us upon arrival, which we truly appreciated. On our first night, we faced a few challenges with our baby, and when we contacted reception, Ishara responded immediately and resolved everything efficiently. His prompt assistance made a big difference to our stay. Breakfast was enjoyable, and the chef at the omelette station was particularly kind and attentive. There were also two kind ladies in the breakfast area who were always willing to assist, although I couldn’t catch their names. During our stay, Isuru helped us several times and was always professional, friendly, and approachable. Induwara was also very helpful with our luggage—he never once let us carry anything ourselves and was always ready to assist with a smile. The entire team was warm and welcoming, including the security staff member, who was a very kind person. One small suggestion would be to consider providing daily housekeeping service for guests staying more than one night, which would make the experience even better. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and will definitely return in the future.

I was there 10 days ago and the waiter serving breakfast was really kind, professional and funny. One of the most memorable people of my experience in the whole country. The hotel was very beautiful, with a swimming pool and spacious rooms

Great place to stay to explore the ancient city of Anuradhapura and mihintale- just a tuk tuk ride away and out of the city with a beautiful garden and swimming pool which on most days we had to ourselves. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and functional. Breakfast and dinner were good.

During the heavy floods in sri lanka, the young and very motivated team gave their very best to make our stay as comfortable as possible. They made our time as sweet as it could possibly have been. The food was great and the area, especially the pool, is great to explore even during the rain. Since we were the only guests, they quickly organized a cooking class for us which taught us how to make rice and curry :) 5/5 experience ＜3

Stayed one night at Gamodh Citadel Resort, and it was a pleasant experience! The room was spotless, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff were warm and welcoming. The pool was well-maintained and added to the relaxing atmosphere. Definitely great value for money!

We stayed at the Gamodh Citadel resort for 2 days. The welcome was wonderfull and the staff is very friendly and helpful. When we arrived it was raining a lot, so they even brought us an umbrella. We've had very nice food, it was tasteful and filling as well. There are a lot of options, so everybody can eat here :)

Several times we visited here. we had Awasome food. They have perfect staff. Rooms are also clean with comfortabal beds and ampel space. Amazing pool experience without any distabances. We can enjoy privacy with carm and quit enveranment. Great atmosphere i have ever feel. All thanks goes to the friendly staff.
