Loved the way Roshan communicated to meet our needs … even for a one night stay. He organised our half day safari & we enjoyed a fabulous meal the night before … such a variety of dishes, all home cooked … yummy The place was amazing … very new & in excellent condition. They were not fully booked & so we were offered an upgrade. His niece, Nikki?, accompanied us on the safari at no extra cost … her knowledge of birds & other wildlife really enhanced our experience. She willingly shared her photos with us, along with her excellent spotting ability. Thanks to everyone who contributed in some way to a memorable weekend

The area itself was difficult to move around, but thanks to the very friendly host and manager, I have a comfortable rest. Because it's in the mountains, there are many insects. Because it's a high hut style, insects can be avoided as much as possible. The sound of birds can feel peaceful. Thanks to the friendly manager, I was able to travel the safest and most comfortable even in the case of moving. Thank you!

Exceeded expectations. The two meals included in the hotel are very delicious. The best food I have ever eaten in Sri Lanka. The environment is very good, it is the feeling of a wild luxury hotel, will come next time.

The location is good: half an hour walk from the bus station (2 km), 300 rupees (85 rubles) by tuk-tuk, this is the general price for such a distance throughout the country for reference. All the local infrastructure is along this very central road: a couple of supermarkets, ATMs, many shops with food, clothes, small items, a little further on a market and fruit trade. A side road leads to the hotel, the main landmark to it is the local hospital. At the corner of the turn to the hotel there is a local eatery, which was praised in reviews, we did not eat there, so I can not say anything, but the locals sat there every evening. The hotel has a quiet road, large cars do not go there, a nice green area. We were immediately checked in. If necessary, they feed you breakfast, we had food from home with us, so we did not order breakfast. There is no kettle in the room, but upon request the hostess brings a large teapot with hot water and cups. There is no refrigerator in the room either, but the main thing is there is air conditioning. A complimentary bottle of water, there is a fumigator - turn it on right away. There is soap, shampoo, liquid hand soap. The hotel offers a spa, an extensive entertainment program: transport rental, excursions, safari. We didn't use anything ourselves, we walked around on our own, but I took a photo with prices for information. What you should consider: - only one socket, take your own tee; - a strong smell of mothballs in the bathroom, most likely either they are fighting insects, or the smell/mold from the pipes; - the bathroom visually requires repair (mold stains, etc.), but most likely it will help for a short time, because this is the climate and you just need to put up with it and relax.

A wonderful, comfortable place to stay. It is located in a really convenient place if you wish to walk to cafes, restaurants, bars, shops and laundry services. The rooms/grounds/environment are very nice, sitting next to Habarana Lake and you will share the grounds with nature. The food was wonderful, especially the local Sri Lankan dishes. However, the best thing about this place is the staff - absolutely brilliant - friendly, helpful and attentive.

Every interaction was warm, friendly, and delivered beyond expectations. The food was outstanding, with rich and flavourful bakery items and beautifully prepared curries that made each meal memorable. Our room allocation and room service were handled with elegance and care. The spacious bathroom, generous amenities, and the breathtaking view added a special touch that we will never forget. Loss property service is admirable. I got my valuable shirt back—honest and True Values at Service by the staff. The evening dinner with our family and friends was wonderfully arranged and thoughtfully catered—an experience we deeply cherished. To Sanath, Janitha, and the entire team: thank you for making our anniversary stay both memorable and heartfelt. A special appreciation also goes out to all service staff, security personnel, and support teams for their exceptional dedication. We are truly grateful and look forward to returning.

Cinnamon Lodge Habarana is a peaceful, nature-filled hotel with a beautiful garden setting and a relaxing lake nearby. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, and the staff are very friendly and helpful, which makes the stay feel warm and welcoming. The food is tasty with a good variety of Sri Lankan and international dishes, and the large pool and open green spaces create a calm resort atmosphere that is perfect for unwinding after visiting nearby sites like Sigiriya and Dambulla

Stop for one night in the economy room. It is clear that for such a price it is not worth expecting anything substantial, but the mattresses were straight very bad, just a piece of fine poron, which is instantly sold to the most boards and in fact lie almost on boards. But it was all expected for such a price, so in general approx. Beautiful territory with garden and tables with views on the rice field. What spoiled the impression: Breakfast! Ordered it extra because it did not go out in the cost of the housing, and I definitely don't recommend taking it in this place. This is not like a classic Lanca breakfast that is served in hotels of the same price category, and is twice as expensive as the same!

I recently stayed this hotel and overall had a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. The breakfast was also a nice touch—fresh and with a good variety. However, the only downside was the Wi-Fi. It was either very slow or not working at all during most of my stay, which was a bit frustrating since I needed to do some work online. I mentioned it to the front desk, but unfortunately, the issue wasn’t resolved. If you don’t rely heavily on internet access during your stay, this place is a great choice. But for remote workers or those needing reliable connectivity, keep this in mind
