GGuest UserThe place is really nice, I like the apartment nature of it. The service is desk is very helpful and friendly. There are lots of amenities- I really appreciated the washing machine and being able to steam my clothes. The gym- is a bit inconvenient as it is in the other hotel- one has to take an elevator, then walk to find it. The cleaning service is good but we ran out of shower gel and it wasn’t replaced, also, the room wasn’t swept. The bed was made as well as towels replaced. The coffee shop downstairs is very good (they can speak English- well one of the ladies can. Overall, we had a good experience.

MMAXIM D.Very good apartment in one of the skyscrapers in the Suzhou Industrial Park district. Despite our request to live on the higher floor with a lake view, we lived in the apartment on the 27th (from 47) floor with the city view. Probably, they just don't have lake-view apartments. However, there is another skyscraper in front of our building. Though, the room was perfect! Very clean, with home shoes, slippers, bath and face towels, teeth kits, kitchen (fridge, microwave, kettle). However, there was no cookware or dishware. We also needed an iron (as was promised in the room description), but the administrator brought us a steamer (which is even better) a few hours after the request.
There are many convenient stores around, where you can buy even cooked food.
In general, we recommend this place to everyone!
Очень хорошие апартаменты в одном из небоскрёбов в районе Индустриального парка Сучжоу. Несмотря на нашу просьбу заселить нас максимально высоко с видом на озеро, нам досталась комната на 27 (из 47) этаже с видом на город. Возможно, у них просто нет комнат повыше с видом на озеро. Однако, прямо перед этим небосрёбом находится другой со стороны как раз озера. И всё равно, сама комната оказалась просто превосходной! Очень чистая, с домашними тапочками, душевыми сланцами, банными и лицевыми полотенцами, зубным набором, кухней (холодильник, микроволновка, чайник). Однако, не было ни посуды для приготовления, ни столовой посуды. Когда нам понадобился утюг (а он был обещан в описании номера), мы попросили администратора, и тот принёс отпариватель (что даже удобнее) через несколько часов.
Вокруг здания много небольших магазинчиков, в том числе с готовой едой.
В общем и целом, мы рекомендуем это место для всех путешественников!

KKikoWe enjoyed our stay here at Somerset Baitang! We’ve stayed in other Somerset branches before, and this is up there as one of the better ones. They cleaned our room nicely when they did, even washing the dishes we used the day prior. The amenities were well maintained, and the location is pretty nice (there’s a lovely park just behind the hotel, it’s walking distance from the metro station and about a 10 minute car ride to Jinji Lake). Special props to Penny and Wendy for taking care of us all throughout our stay! Will book here again next time we come back for a visit. 😃

HHarish HIThis was our first time in Suzhou and we had heard a lot about Somerset through reviews and knew we would have a great time here.
Our room was upgraded, but there was an initial challenge around an additional bed, which they got it resolved in some time.
The front desk is helpful and speaks and understands some English. We found Adrianna, another colleague of hers and Kenneth very efficient and helpful with our requests.
Coco, was very helpful at the restaurant guiding us through where to find vegetarian options during our breakfast. Rooms have the amenities you would need when you come with a family.
You can't go wrong with this one!
Overall, the kids enjoyed the stay and the location is decent.

__WeChat504077****Overall, the room was great, and the staff were all very enthusiastic. When I called for something to be delivered, it arrived very quickly. The only minor issue was that when I needed ice in the evening, they had run out, which was a bit of a shame, but it was still good. After the room upgrade, it was very spacious and comfortable, and the bed was incredibly comfortable – I slept really well. On the second day, I hung the 'please clean' sign before heading out, and when I returned, the room was spotlessly clean. They even replaced our disposable toiletries, which was very thoughtful. On the last day, we tried the breakfast; the variety was a bit limited, and some dishes weren't refilled promptly, but the freshly made noodles and wontons were decent.

MM625548****The front desk staff were very welcoming, making the entire check-in process very pleasant. They also offer free self-parking. The room facilities were very complete, and the cleanliness was meticulous. It was a very satisfying stay, and I personally highly recommend it!
The hotel also features a gym, laundry room, book corner, entertainment (billiards, board games), a conference hall, and refreshments – it felt very cozy!
The lemonade was delicious, and the tea was nice and hot!
They even gave us a free room upgrade!
The duck blood vermicelli soup was a unique local specialty!

2210762****Stayed for 2 days. The location is very convenient, and you can cycle around Jinji Lake in the morning. Parking is available outside, not too far away. The room view is excellent; you can see the Eye of Suzhou and Jinji Lake right from the bedroom. The room comes with a fridge, induction cooker, and microwave, so it's fully equipped. Although the room facilities are a bit dated, the environment is clean, making it perfect for family trips. Complimentary drinking water is provided, along with charging cables and hangers, which is a very thoughtful touch.

AAllicerIt's a nice place to stay inside the Tongli Old Town, which is a world heritage-listed national park in China. It's clean and conveniently located. The owner is friendly. He can help you to get a discount for the park entrance to get in. Will definitely return again and recommend this to our friends.

GGuest UserThe B&B is in a good location with easy access, and it only takes 10-20 minutes to walk to the Jinji Lake. The housekeeper in charge of reception was very nice. He helped me upgrade the room for free. When I asked for an extra set of quilts, his request was promptly met. The view from the room is really nice. You can touch the colorful Ferris wheel while lying on the bed. It makes me feel happier. Maybe this is the meaning of travel! Let me talk about the decoration of the house. It is the style I like. The furniture is made of solid wood, and you can see the ”traces” of being handled by hands, but it does not affect its cleanliness and calmness.
