La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Raleigh Cary

It was a terrible experience staying at this hotel. It was a strong nasty smell that I almost throw up when I opened the door of my room. As I have a dinner event nearby so I just opened the window and tried to get this smell out of the room. After I came back from dinner the smell was still there and even strong. It was almost midnight and I didn’t think that the front desk would get me another room. Also the customer service was also bad. I have been waiting at the lobby for 10 minutes and no one shows up to check me in when I arrived. Finally a woman came to check me in but have waited until she finished her stuff without good manner.

Building had shingles blowing off and mold/mildew on outside. Inside in the hallway the smell of THC would make you sick and there was obvious prost*tut*on going on. You could hear it and tell by the “guests” in the lobby and hallway. Inside the room, the toilet had been used and not flushed. Went back to front desk to request a refund and check out. Because it was booked on *******, I was told I would have to go through them. I have done that and they’ve reached out to the hotel but have yet to receive a response nor have I after reaching back out as well. This place was in no way safe for a single person to stay in. And I certainly wouldn’t expect my family to stay there. It was filthy and had all sorts of unlawful activities going on like it was normal business and nobody cared. It appeared to be in a nice neighborhood which was very misleading.

This property was very clean and safe. I give it five star's and the food was fresh and good. The rooms was cle a ned and the exterior of the building.

I took a chance after looking at the reviews. I would never stay here again. It's just gross. It looks like the photos just dirty. The bench at the bottom of the bed was heavily soiled. I requested a blanket to cover so I could sit on it. The elevator was dirty the floors were dirty. Everything just needs a deep cleaning. The sheets were clean and smelled fine. There were no bed bugs so I stayed. If you are bringing children or staying more than 1 or 2 nights don't choose this place. Had I had my children with me I wouldn't have stayed here.

I have enjoyed my stay. The breakfast was good. Clean environment and quiet place.i ranked this a five star. The prices was reasonable for the stay.

The check in process was easy. The front desk staff were very friendly and smiled. It is nice to see good customer service still. I will likely stay again.

Nice staff, comfy bed, but it really needs a facelift. Its decor is very dated and the property is run down. I will not stay there again. Travelocity should remove this from its offerings.

We were very disappointed in the breakfast available. There was no coffee at all. The options were less than we expected. All options were not available even an hour after the beginning time.

My initial room assigned was not ready. Someone was smoking on the fifth floor in a “smoke free” hotel. On my first morning, I went downstairs to get some coffee and it turns out, it was cold and the continental breakfast was not ready for guests. The hotel is in dire need of a major renovation and the outside walls need pressure washing.
