The hotel boasts an excellent location, right on Victoria Street, making it incredibly convenient to visit The Elephant House and shop for Harry Potter merchandise. We also enjoyed what we believe were the best fried noodles in Edinburgh at Mussel, the seafood restaurant located directly opposite. The room itself was larger than anticipated, and I particularly appreciated the bathroom having a bathtub – perfect for a relaxing soak after a long day of city walking!

Nice heritage hotel. Nicely located closely every attractions and train station. Didn't try the food but close to st james quarter with lots of good eating options. Enjoyed the stay here and was easy to walk to the train station and drop the car rental. Thanks

Good location but noisy on street side and no aircon in the room, so stuffy with window closed

We had various minor service and facility issues, which we have communicated to the hotel itself. The hotel is in need of refurbishment and a service upgrade

Facilities: I stayed in a standard king-size bed room for four consecutive nights during my second visit. The bathroom was not as amazing as the previous suite, but it was comfortable enough. There were slippers in the room, but no toothbrush, toothpaste or razor. You can ask the front desk for these. The Border biscuits in the room were super delicious. There was a small black hair ball in a bottle of water in the room, which might be an accident.

Hygiene: Very clean, cleaned every day.

Environment: In the same building as the front desk and restaurant, quiet in a bustling city. Several subway stations are within walking distance, St. Paul's Cathedral is within walking distance, and Borough Market, theaters, British Columbia, Oxford Street and other areas are very convenient.

Service: Super good, from the duty manager to the front desk staff to the restaurant to the room service, they are all very warm and friendly. When I left, I said I liked the biscuits in the room and wanted to buy some, and they gave me a handful directly, hahahaha

We had an amazing stay at the Apex City of London Hotel! Traveling as a family, we were truly impressed with the warm and thoughtful service. I had requested a birthday note as a special surprise for my mom, and the team went above and beyond by also providing a delicious birthday cake—it really made her day feel extra special.

We booked a room with a sofa bed, which was already set up as a bed when we arrived. It was comfortable, though not quite as cozy as the main bed; a bit of extra cushioning or a mattress topper would be a nice touch for anyone using it as a regular bed.

The amenities were excellent and well worth the value, with comfortable rooms and great facilities like the sauna, pool, and gym. The hotel’s location is fantastic, just a short walk to train and bus stations and an easy stroll to the Tower of London. Plus, they allow guests to store bags both before check-in and after check-out, which was very convenient for our plans. We’ll definitely be back to enjoy more of what this wonderful hotel has to offer!

The hotel's location and cleanliness were excellent. The rooms were very large. The staff were helpful and friendly. We didn't have breakfast, so I can't comment on that, but a hotel this nice definitely has a good breakfast. If I were to go back, I would definitely stay at this hotel again. It's about a six-minute walk to the center. I look forward to returning. The only thing I didn't like was that we specifically requested a quiet location, away from the elevator. However, they had assigned it directly across from the staff room, and almost every 10 minutes, someone would come in and out, and the door would slam, which started early in the morning. That was the only downside. A hotel I can definitely recommend. Best regards.
